    Somewhere between here and there
I have three tips from Drew. I have the aluminum 510 one, an amethyst 510, and a swirl lr306 one. The only time I have had a problem is with the amethyst one on a 901 and I think I just dripped too much liquid. I do like the shape of the aluminum one and 306 one better but the amethyst does work. You just can't drip 3-4 drops really quick.

I haven't had any issues with any of the many drip tips I have (from various suppliers,Drew included)<<< I know people that have problems hate hearing this... so I will add a more productive comments

some might have already been stated.

if you feel you have "small holed" tips

    1) if they are heavily used "build up" tends to slow the path so cleaning is the solution
    2) vaping it immediate after dripping many drops- the wait isn't long, but still need a slight wait

    tricks

    1) blow
    2) tap
    3) a better (IMO) and more natural way of doing it is dripping on an already pre-activated atty.. an atty that already has been hit in a vape session will help the "juice suction" plus if you activate the atty a second or two before taking a hit will help prevent "juice lock" since the heat will help draw the liquid down the chamber to the heat source.

though it isn't complicated, it still takes sort of a "technique" (small) to get the outcome you are looking for.

hopefully this helps make your vaping experience enjoyable
