Ni 200

So I just realized a day ago that my evic vt has temp control, so I go out get a ni 200 kanger coil for my tank soak it over night and fire it up this morning .... and now I keep getting this wierd chemical taste occasionally while vaping, thoughts ideas? For now switching back to my atlantis v2.

Did you read up on how your Temperature control works?
Are you sure you got it set up properly?

How did you not know the evic has tc that's what it was made for lol, what did you soak it in? I haven't built any coils yet but planning on it, are you sure you have it set in NI mode as you have three different modes and if you use wattage mode for nicke that may cause the issue you are having.

Soaked in juice made shure it was good to go and it fires good but I get a chemical taste after 2 or 3 consecutive puffs. It's not the juice I have used that in the same tank with kanthol and had no wierd tastes.

Try decreasing your temperature a notch. It might be a slightly-dry-but-not-quite dry, or almost-burnt-but-not-quite-burnt hit you're tasting.

Are you sure you have it in the correct mode? Titanium nickel and normal? Which one are u using? Did you get the ego mega tank with the box mod as a kit? If yes how was that?

I have found I like several of my tanks set around 400f/20J-25J
Is your coil spaced or Contact?
Did you Lock your base(room temp) Resistance? Does the VT even do that?

Shouldn't be getting any dry hits mate? He wasn't sure he had TC to begin with maybe the settings are wrong

NI200 is almost pure nickel, many complain they can taste nickel in there juice when using these coils because nickel is such a soft metal some claim they can taste it leaching into the juice.

The tank that came with it was good for a bit then it started leaking all over me lol. But really correct setting check . Lock it to room temp I have no idea what that's about and I only had the temp upto 210. I can't adjust jewels in ni mode on it. And for the ni coil I was using it with a kanger tank.

210 farenheit or celsius? If farenheit, that's way way way too low.

So.................I'm reading that you have the Device, but little to no idea of how it works or what to do with it beyond Press button/vape?
