I was looking at the BVC Clapton coils for the Innokin Apex 5mL. I see that there is a Ni200 0.2ohm coil option. Anytime I've seen a nickle coil, it must be used in TC mode. Is this also the case for these coils? Sorry, noobie here. My current setup doesn't have TC so I don't want to buy something I can't use.

if you can get a Ni coil above .3 ohms it should work in most regulated mods that can use ( go down to) .25 ohms, otherwise, stick with Kanthal builds... the reason for Ni and Ti builds in TC mode is the extremely low resistance they offer... TC takes advantage of very low resistance builds
Don't use ni200 without temp control. Out of the resistance wires, it has the most potential to create hazardous oxides if it is overheated. Out of the commonly used resistance wires it is the supposedly least biocompatible metal; I know enough people with nickle allergies to believe it.
