It's all trial and error.

Generally speaking with Ni200 coils I start with 450F, and move up from there if I don't feel that's enough. A lot of other people will never go above 425F. The temperature is something you'll have to decide on based on your own taste.

With wattage I've found it's best to stand in front of a mirror so you can watch the display while you puff. If the TC never lowers the wattage or never reaching the temperature you set while you're puffing then you should push the wattage higher. If it's drastically lowering the wattage or pulsing you should lower the wattage.

So, let's say you set the temperature at 450F and wattage at 40W. You take a puff and the temperature only hits 420F as a maximum and the wattage never lowers. Your wattage is too low. However, if you have the same settings and take a puff and the temperature immediately hits 450F and the wattage cuts way down to 12W then your wattage is too high. Adjust until you're hitting the temperature you have set with the mod making slight adjustments to the wattage.

Screen is so small on the pico it's hard to see the wattage but noticed that my temp was only going to about 380 and that was pretty tasty

Thanks for the feedback!

I've set my pico at 45W and now will play with the temp.

Right now on my current temp is 380 for the juice I have it in and it tastes pretty sweet!

The NI are rated for Max 60W, so don't go over that.

For me, I've locked down my settings at 45W on my devices (TC60W and TC100W) while the temp. is variable for liquids.. some require higher temp than others.

Normally, I start at 420F and work my way up until I get the warmth I like.

The thing about Temp control is that unless you go too high and burn it out, the wattage is about how fast the coil heats up.

I find that the difference between going higher as opposed to a mid-range setting is that I found that my coils would go bad faster at the higher settings... too low and you time out the device (10 second safety) before it vapes properly.

The good thing about the Pico, is that it's part of the Melo family (using the same coils) which.. there is a HUGE selection from other brands that you can try out...the coils are the same as for the Atlantis, a few Vaperasson, Herakles, etc.

I've settled on the Vaperasso coils (Ceramic) which are very nice, and once dead, I take them apart and rebuild them... (ends up costing pennies to rebuild)

At this point, my rebuilds are about the all we use at my house.

Hi All,

I'm trying some eleaf ni coils today in TC mode on my pico but have no clue what I should set the wattage at or the temperature at, any suggestions?

I like a cooler and flavorful vape :)

Thanks!

Start Los and go up in Watttages and temp till you find what works for you.

NEVER use NI coils in power mode.

Where do you get your Vaperasso coils?
