Been building on several RDA's over the past few months with ni200 28g wire. The issues I am having is for dual coil builds to get ohms above 0.1 I am having to do over 12 wraps on each side. That type of build is really difficult to get on the deck also once on the deck there is usually a couple coils that are touching witch in VT mode burns the cotton.

Currently I have been building dual coils on an atty cubed using a eic-vt. Heard higher ohms will give better flavor and for some reason at 0.06 ohms the evic-vt sometimes switches to VW mode and tells me atty too low.

I am thinking of going to 30g ni200 wire for higher ohms. Was wondering if anyone knows of a good RDA with lots of space for the spread out coils?

Velocity RDA is the one you want. This is my single coil 26g build, but this atty is made for dual. In fact, in PB's video he posted yesterday he built a dual Ni 28g coil in the Velocity, go to 45:00 to see his build.

Yeah, I'm going to have to switch to Ti, myself. I was trying to build with nickel in the Silver Play V2 with 28g Ni200. Can't go larger than 2.5mm ID or it won't fit in the deck. And even at 2.5mm I needed 10 wraps on a single coil to get it up to 0.1 ohms... there's no way I'm going to get a dual coil in there with nickel. Looks like I'm gonna order some 26 and 28g TiG1 if I'm gonna get this temp control to work with duals on the Invader Mini...

I have been wraping my coils around a small screw driver I think they call it 33 something. Was thinking of trying to do wraps around a machine screw for consistent spacing.

Ordered a velocity clone today if I like it gonna go for the authentic. Also ordered 30g ni200 and 28g Ti grade 1. Gonna keep building. Practice makes perfect. The flavor on VT devices is worth it.

Thanks again for all the reply's :)

Thinner wire, I've been using 7 wraps of twisted 34 AWG (0.16 mm) on dual 1/8" (3.2 mm) wicks 0.11 ohm for about 6 months, but ss rope wicks in an Origenny 2 up to 40 W. Twisted holds it's shape much better than single strand Ni, but you may need twisted 32 AWG or 3 strands twisted 34 AWG and a couple more wraps with cotton wicks.
