I know after a period of vaping that I had convinced myself that I missed smoking - specifically, the taste... I don't think I am alone when I say that a few puffs on a cigarette, now, leaves me boggled why I smoked in the first place. I really do NOT enjoy the taste - yucky compared to the alternative.

I smell the smoke freshly burning and it makes me feel a bit nostalgic. Though I smell it stale and want to puke knowing I smelled like that!!

I'm exactly the same on both counts!
Something else that does get to me at times too is when someone on a TV drama or film takes a long, satisfying draw on a cigarette ....sort of gives me a pang of nostalgia - I look away and the thought is gone :)
