Nicotine has a pepperiness taste without any flavoring added. The more the nicotine concentration, the more peppery it tastes (and the more throat hit you get). Dropping the nic concentration will decrease the pepperiness and allow the flavoring of the
e-liquid to shine through.
Over the last few years, I've dropped from 18 mg down to 3 mg. I can't say that I notice the flavors more with 3 mg compared to 6 mg., but the 3 mg is "smoother" and less harsh than the 6 mg. I'm at the point where throat hit is not a priority when I
