Nic levels in dripping

Ok so I just started on rda. I have been vaping on Ego w/ Dual coil cart w/ 24mg nic. It was making me dizzy in rda. So, I pulled out some samples from MT. Baker and using them in RDA. Stopped by B&M today and he said I need to estimate whatever nic level I'm using in RDA and double it, is this true?? So in reality my 12 mg labeled is actually 24 mg when using RDA? He also said the 12 mg is really high w/ RDA. He said most people using RDA go no higher than 6 mg? Any help would be appreciated!

They put it pretty well. The issue is if you are pumping out 4x more vapor with an RDA you are exposing yourself to 4x more of whatever is in that vapor in the process. If you want to see those clouds most people have to cut their nic level way back in the process.

I cut mine by half also! In fact I'm thinking of cutting it even further (it's at 6mg now)

Yes it was!! Took couple hits got dizzy and started looking for 12 mg samples lol! My other problem is I now have new juice coming in mail and it's all 24 mg which is what I've been vaping forever in my cartos!! Sooooo...going to have to figure out how to make it all about 6 mg if in fact I need to consider it actually a 12 mg in my RDA! We live and we learn!!

I use 6mg in my RDA and that gets me a little jittery and light headed, but that's what I'm looking for

I can vape 12mg while dripping, but prefer 6mg. Tried 24mg once.... Once..... My sinuses puked after.

Order 0mg of the same flavors. Mix 25% 24mg and 75% 0mg, that should give you around 6mg.

By 0 nic of the same and 3 0 to 1 24 will give you 6nic

Hmm am I missing something here? I have been thinking about getting a Kayfun or a Expromizer (RDA) myself (using a Vivi Nova now on ego).

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it depend on what OHM he was using in that RDA and the Volt\Watt he is burning it at to determine most about what he is talking about?

I can see that if he was sub ohming and running hot where he would get like this, but (example: If I run a 1.5 ohm on my Vivi Nova and ran a coil at 1.5 an a RDA at the same wattage produce about the same amount of vapor?

Granted I am expecting more vapor and flavor when making this switch, but to have to go half of the nic level. I'm lost?

I can drip 18mg nic okay.. But i max out at 11 watts.. A lil harsh occasionally and one time I got a lil funny tummy.. But I must be a freak. I vape 6mg as often as 18 and cant tell much difference except for TH

36mg clove is a REAL hoot!!!
This stuff - in a TANK - can take your head off!!!! Dripped ----8-o!!!

It kinda freaked me out! I've been vaping Ego's w/ 1.8 or a 2.2 coil in my BCC for over a year w/ 24 mg! Got my very first RDA and SVD (so excited!) running 2.2 coil so not even trying sub ohm (yet lol) So, I made me a nice whipped vodka loaded up the RDA and was loving it! After a couple hits I was little dizzy, so I tried a couple more. Then got out my samples from Mt. Baker (12 mg) and that cured the dizzy feeling! So, I'm not sure going down to 6 mg will work for me, that may be in fact too low. But I won't be using the 24 mg either, it will have to be lowered. I'll stick to my vodka for the warm fuzzy feeling!!

but what is specifically being discussed is sub ohm RDA vaping

I do both

with subohm (I have at .4-.6 ohm's) I feel those effects

then the RDA's I have set up at 1.0 and above I do not feel the increase at all

seems most lower their nic significantly when going to an RDA. me personally, i sub ohm @ 36mg to 40mg/ml. it's what works for me. i don't recommend it for most people.

Tried dripping 24mg, one hit and I put my mod down for 3 hours and had a headache for about an hour. I now drip 8-10 mg, seems to be pretty good for me

I cut back from 12mg to 6mg when I built my Igo-T. Only doing a 1.7 single micro coil right now but I am getting a little more vapor than normal and I have a little more time to enjoy the flavor. Still have a lot to learn about dripping though.
