nichrome 80/20.

Does anybody know what in the hell nichrome 80/20 is?
i found a shop local to me who says he has nichrome 80/20

he's wanting the spindle which is 100meters 328ft for $20 dollars.

oh ya. and he only has the roll which i believe to be between 25 and 27 gauge. he said the millimeter size i dont remember it exactly.

go for it? or not?

i guess it is suitable .. just found it here: Nichrome 80/20 Coiling Wire - Evolution Vaping ... £5.99 for 10meters. thats like $9 dollars.

80% nickel, 20% chromium. Just the alloy ratio for making a Ni/Chrome wire..

NiChrome 80 is a very common Nickel Alloy used for Resistance Wires. It is also referred to as Chromel A.

Nothing new about NiChrome 80. In fact, all the Early Non-Rebuildable Attys, Cartos and Clearo used NiChrome 80. Many still do today.

Some people, like Myself, prefer the Taste of NiChrome 80 over Kanthal(s). And some prefer the Physical Properties of things like Ramp Up speed/gauge over Kanthal(s).
