Just tried out the cape cod and didn't see a huge difference. Lots of rubbing not a lot of improvement. Some but still looks like ... and needs to be cleaned.
I use baking powder, mix it to a paste and rub it on , very fine paste jewellers use it to polish silver, hope this helps
PS takes a bit of work though
I use nothing but gasoline, works great.. takes the nickel right off of that bad boy.
Just kidding!!! I use this Mothers Polish and it worked great. I did try some Cape cods cloths but I heard they are very abrasive and I didn't want the nickel to actually start coming off. Most of the time I had my Nickel ggts I just wrapped it up in a microfiber cloth so my hands never made contact. Keep it very clean so you don't have to polish that much and it will last a lot longer. If you want to do some research try to find a polish that is the least abrasive as possible so you won't wipe away all the meterial(nickel).
