I'm happy with mine imeo I just wish it had brass ends alu is ok but mine is show wear already, all brass would look the dogs nuts too IMO

Is there a problem with the plating on the nickel matte versions?

Mine is a nickel shiny, and it already has a few dark spots on the plating, mostly where i hold it.

those spots will leave with only some water clavit. I am talking only about the mat ones, you have nothing to worry about.

Actually I have the nickel matte, and I am still not sure what imeo means by 'unbraid'?

i too have the nickel matte. Can you explain or post a pic of what "unbraid" is?

imeo i recieved my all brass ggtb just a hour ago and this thing is just what the doctor ordered in my opp .. i think i will order a few as extra back up mods ... there just so much more than i thought they would be ...build a 10 look a 10 shine a 10 over all i would say its just all that when it comes to a quality built mod and i know i have just bought a gg not a ego .. not that the ego is a bad starter mod... but just not for shure near the quality of the ggtb or the other gg mods i have tried ... just great ..in my opp ... you have nailed it my friend ..

well i just tried the ggtb with the 17670 aw battery and wow is all i will say ... i lied i must say this one thing imeo ... if the ggtb dont sell out quickly the people here are sleeping on this one ... just to be honest there just missing out in my opp...

Ok now your going to make me push the button and get one. I was holding out for a nickel with brass ends. But one cant go wrong with having more GG's.

I will just have to pick up another when it comes around.
