Nicoderm Patch + No Nic e juice combo?

Hey Folks.
Noob here, just got my kit yesterday and had juice already steeping for the big day.
Well I HATED the nic taste in the vap. It tasted like nic gum I tried so my question is:
Has anyone used a Nic Patch and vaping zero nic ejuice to quite?

No, but I use patches from time to time, which I couldn't manage when I was a smoker.

Are you sure it's nicotine you can taste? Can't say I've ever tasted it.

i've been thinking about the same combo. I like the idea of 100% vg no nic for cloud chasing while on the patch.

The same/similar idea is actually my "escape plan" should the worst happen.

This is actually how I started vaping. I got my supply of patches and put it on the day my ecig with no nic came.....by 7 pm that night I was ripping the patch off of me and floored it to Walgreens to get nicotine...highest I could find...for my new little blu cig. so didn't work well for me. I then vaped and smoked for about three months...smoke at home, vape when out anywhere including work....then I didn't want to buy both...so laid down the cigs and it's been a while now! Hope it works for the ones wanting it too

What e juice are you using? I can't say I've ever tasted the nicotine in my e juice at all. Maybe you got a bad batch of juice? Right now I'm vaping a 24mg. Of nicotine juice and I can't taste a thing. Only the flavor I picked out which is guava right now. What exactly are you tasteing? It could be you got a bad juice or something? Even when I've accidently tasted my juice it was sweet. I'd order a good juice and give it another try. But if the patch works for you them go for it! Whatever works! I wish you the best! !

I have never had juice taste like anything other than the flavor of the juice either, although I have had some juice that was not much of a flavor until it steeped a while. What kind of juice did you get and where did you get it?

Thanks for the responses. If you ever tried a nic gum you know hat I mean. I first tried a green apple 1.8 ml at least a PAD + and thought this as the right level. I now think I will try the lowest and also I will pick up a zero nic vap to taste and compare.


I successfully quite for 2 years using the patch ages ago but fell off the wagon so I know the patch can work for me.
