Hey Bike -- I am confident you will figure this one out. I don't want you to miss out on The Virus!! My husband is a Virus *nut*! He's using the GSAir as well, just like you, 1.5 original coil (not rebuilt) at 8.5 watts on a 30 watt istick. It's great to him, and I can taste the maple, honey, peanuts, etc. when I hit it. The Virus bottle he is vaping on now is from 11/21/14, about to start in on a sealed new bottle from 2/15/15. Follow Clark's instructions to breathe and shake, and see what you think over the next few days. My husband has noticed with The Virus that there is a break in period on a new coil, full flavor coming after the first tank or so. To me, Virus has as much or more flavor than Wakonda - so if you liked Wakonda, Virus must just need a little breathing or fine tuning for it to be to your liking. I found I did NOT like Virus at first. It took a few days. My brain had to "learn" what I was tasting. After a few days, I began to crave it - couldn't wait to vape it, because it was so different from any other vape I have had. In fact, I've ADDED chocolate to it to get that taste, and here YOU are with ONLY getting chocolate! It's a mystery, for sure. Your "infection" is waiting, just gotta find your sweet spot! Hope this helps you, buddy!
Thanks Nanny, you got me laughin. I trust you guys. I pm'd Kent first cause I didn't want to post about it but he came out and told everybody all I was getting was chocolate. Give me a little bit. I've been tryin to get my heat pump to cool, too, so I'll get back later with something , maybe. :)

You know it actually helps to post your experience because people see all the talk about how fantastic this or that juice is and if they don't have the same experience then they can get frustrated and give up on it. Seeing your take on things, even if you end up with nothing but chocolate (very doubtful...) can give someone going "What are they drinking??? " a sense of a different perspective. :)

Personally I like my virus very fresh. It's subtly sweet with a soft flavor of something vaguely like chocolate whipped cream (YUMMY). Then a day later it's like a Godiva chocolate with a hint of liquor. Then it has a bit of strawberry covered in chocolate. Then a mocha. Then you get chocolate covered nuts. Then peanuts. Then maple syrup covered pancakes. That's over anywhere between a week to a month. And none of those flavors are in the juice. It's just how your taste buds interpret the NET. :thumb:

For me, The Virus seemed very single flavored (maple) the first day or so.

3 or 4 days later and it had ventured far outside if that maple cocoon to become and entirely different animal.

Good Stuff :vapor:

I'd bet what you experience as maple Bike and I experience chocolate...at least that's my unqualified opinion.

My thoughts exactly.

I think a little time and airing will benefit much more than differing equipment... at this point.

Once it turns that corner (3 or 4 days for me) then it's Game On!

I told you, we are too busy figuring out how to help you spend your money.

Seriously though, honest impressions of juice are always welcome!

I always give honest opinions, I was just tryin to figure out what might be wrong before posting. I was concerned that the bottle dated Dec-2014 has something to do with it. 4 month old juice. Can I expect the flavors to evolve at this point? :)

Brother Bike, so good to see you over here. :) in a word: YES, Virus (or any other juice for that matter) will change once exposed to air (oxygen). Glass bottles prevent this WAY better than LPDEs which are actually slightly gas-permeable. Your bottle of Virus is basically unchanged since it was steeped at NT and then bottled. It WILL change.....a lot. Much like vaping, itself.....the journey of the juices can be quite a fun trip!! Super excited for your enjoyment of Wakonda....another that just gets better and better until your left tempted to tongue the last partial drop out of the bottle! :)

Welcome to the NuThouse brother!

...anybody seen my rebar coil around here.....:lol:

Side note, my package arrived today...battered, crushed, not a smooth side on the box...nor a sharp corner :mad::-x:grr::facepalm:
Hesitantly and prayerfully, I sniffed it and searched it for wet spots on the way from the front door to the kitchen counter. All seemed ok, but I STILL held my breath until I opened it....Nolan, YOU ROCK!! :headbang::rickroll::banana: beautifully packaged and all my little babies bubble-wrap-swaddled and nestled up perfectly together among the tufts of paper surrounding them....and a ZOTZ!!!

Been playing with mah juice since!!:oops::D

Well that's good to know bro, cause I thought I might miss out on the developmental stages of the juice. Clark explained that storing the juice at 62 degrees in glass bottles ......ed steeping (something I've never came across before). So I guess I'll be enjoying the journey with this ......ed juice.

ETA: Think I might have found the problem with the Virus.

Taste is subjective (worn out :)) But my taste is not dead. :) Hardware accounts for more difference in taste than anything in my opinion. That's why I stated that the Wakonda was so good with the exact same hardware as I tried the Virus in. I know you deliver or so many wouldn't be praising your juice. I just have to find out why I'm not getting the flavors out of it. I wasn't gonna post about it until I figured it out. That's why I pm'd you. But that's fine. I'm not giving up on it yet :)

There's a ton of support out here - no worries at all 'outing' that your struggling with this liquid or that - everyone has struggled with one or another before. Just trying to get more opinions, options - as much as I think I know it all, I don't. LMAO!~ ;)
