These pretty much echo my thoughts and sentiments on quitting and addiction to nic. I, and many veteran vapers I know literally go all day without vaping due to jobs, responsibilties, restrictions, etc. without so much as a twinge of a craving. (I alternate between 0 and 3 mg of nic, btw.) It is that 'something else' in cigarettes that causes that ungodly addiction.
While I mostly agree, and it is certainly true for myself that nicotine without the other reinforcements in cigarette smoke is less addicting, I wouldn't make a blanket statement like that. Throughout my younger years I tried many different recreational substances, many of which are considered extremely addictive, and never one got addicted to any of them. Some of my friends were not so immune to the addictive draw of those recreational activities. On the other hand, I did become helplessly addicted to cigarettes, while most of my friends walked away from smoking without issue.
Basically what I'm saying is that it's been my experience that everyone is different, in psychology and physiology (to some extend). Addiction and dependence are much more complex than saying "this thing is extremely addictive" without identifying why and who is most susceptible to that thing. Don't forget that there is a minority right here on ECF that need WTA to keep from relapsing back into the smoking habit.
