Hi there , i see that there are many variants like 100mg/ 36 mg nicotine bases etc.. what is the right one i should get ? please correct me if i'm wrong ... but would getting the 100mg help me make more amounts of e liquid and last longer? And also they come in vg or pg. My target is around 50-60% pg and 40% vg. So what should i get to achieve this ?

also there is the propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine . which one should i get?

last question is that in the e juice calculators, there is the option to add water/h2o... what difference would this make if i add this? would i still get the same flavor or will i be able to make more ml's of e-liquids?

thanks alot

p.s: It's not easy to get hold of e juices here locally and suppliers prices are quite high. So would like to diy so that i could save on cost and get more juice, thanks

Don't go higher than 60mg/mL.
Wear gloves and goggles.

Get PG based nicotine if you are using a higher ratio of PG.
Get both PG and VG, as well as nicotine.

Adding water would save VG/PG but it takes away from vapor production. Some people add it to thin out their VG.

Yes, if you use 100mg/mL nicotine it will make more juice as opposed to an equal amount of lower concentration nicotine solution. But if you have to ask that question, you shouldn't be using that high of a concentration.

Nicotine is very poisonous. I highly recommend you start of with 60mg/mL or lower.

What mg/mL do you plan on vaping?(ex. 12, 16, 18, 24mg)

Hi thank you for the fast reply, i'm about to make an order now. Please correct me if i'm wrong, when you mentioned don't go higher than 60mg/ml is that the nicotine base you are referring to?

and could you briefly explain what is the difference btw a nicotine base with either pg or vg? it's really confusing .

and also does the flavouring also have to be in pg or vg?

The average percentage I use flavors at is 7%. I'm going to base these figures off my average, your ratio, and final nic level.

For juice at 60/40 18mg with 7% flavor you need-
Either
Option A-
You will need...
468.75mL nic. So buy a 500mL of 48mg/mL nicotine
193.75mL PG. So buy a 250mL bottle of PG
500mL VG. So buy a 500mL bottle of VG
87.5mL of flavor. So buy 11 WL flavor vials, at least)

With this you can make 1250mL of juice. You will end up with PG and some nicotine left over which will be good if you end up wanting to up your nic level or make some ethyl maltol solution

Alternately you can cut that in half and get
Option B-
A 250 bottle of 48mg/mL of nic
A 120mL bottle og PG
A 250mL bottle of VG
5 WL flavor vials(Get at least 5, you are bound to not like some of them)

Which Nic to get depends on or target nic level (more variance if you're using high conc. nic when your target nic is low). The higher nic conc. does allow you to mix a wider range of PG/VG ratios. There's nothing wrong with 100mg/ml if you know what your doing and take precautions (vented space, droppers, pipettes, syringes, graduated cylinders, etc.).

For a 5ml of 18mg/ml 60/40 PG/VG @15% flavoring (PG based flavoring)

From 60/40 PG/VG 60mg/ml (cap @ 85/15 PG/VG and 35/65 PG/VG):
1.5ml of nic
1.35ml of PG
1.4ml of VG
0.75ml of flavoring

From 60/40 PG/VG 100mg/ml (cap @ 90/10 PG/VG and 10/90 PG/VG):
0.9ml of nic
1.71ml of PG
1.64ml of VG
0.75ml of flavoring

Note that the PG and VG depletion is close to 1:1, maintaining somewhere close to this ratio is convenient such that you won't deplete one significantly faster than the other which allows you to order them at the same time to save on shipping. From the above calculation, you'll be mixing 1:1:1 PG/VG/nic ratio for 60mg/ml and 2:2:1 ratio for 100mg/ml. Personally I would prefer getting 100mg/ml so I can work with a wider range of PG/VG ratio, but 60mg/ml is fine if you don't plan to mix anything above 65% VG.

WL = Wizard Labs: Wizard Labs

PS. WL's nic is cheaper (more PG/VG choices as well) and so are their flavorings ($1.50/8ml), good place to try out different flavors (can purchase bulk TPA flavoring cheaper in other places).

Ok i just got my stuffs and need some help...

48mg nic base 100% pg.
pg
vg
flavours.

Now i want to make it into 40% pg and 60% vg with 16mg nic. using the ejuice calculator this is what i got:

if you see under ingredents, at pg/vg 0 nicotine it says -0.8. So what when wrong? This is the pg that i'll be adding into my recipe right?

thanks for any help ;)
