IMO, that doesn't work very well. I've seen people who by the chart should have been happy vaping 24 mg/ml juice get very nic sick and people who should have been happy vaping 6 mg juice be quite deprived.

Yes, it's a starting point and better than nothing, but I would take it as that and be prepared to adjust as needed from there.

Agreed... the juice level recommendations seem high to me... but that's just me.

Seems pretty difficult to reduce this to numbers, since some folks are very regimented; they might vape for 5 minutes, or 15 puffs, every hour, while others tend to chain vape or at least use it much more frequently than they might have cigarettes.

while that chart sounds probably about right...it is just a guide...
Best bet have juice in all different nic levels...some days you may need more other days less...
when I started vaping I was vaping at higher nic levels around 48 to 36mg to help curb my cravings then once I was over the withdraw from cigs I dropped to 24mg and now well I vary from 6mg to 24mg depending on day/stress or if I plan to chain vape....

just keep in mind when vaping higher nics to take fewer puffs per vaping session

That chart wouldn't work for me. I was 1pad to 1 1/2 pad and could only vape 6mg. Keeping in mind I get 12 draws off a cig till filter. I still could only use 6mg. Although I was a lights smoker. My hubby though who is just over a pad of camel fulls could only use 11mg at the highest and I would say he is a hardcore inhaler on his cigs. I don't think any chart can explain the correct mg for anyone because everyone inhales differently and there are too many differences for each individual.

Eh, at first coming off analogs, I pretty much needed 24mg, and I still vape that, even months later with no ill effects. I have happily vaped as low as 12mg in juices that have flavors I like without feeling deprived. It seems the longer I am away from smoking, the less I crave the nicotine. The only downside I see in reducing my nicotine level is a reduction of throat hit, which I still very much enjoy.

True, not too mention the device. If i have a brand new coil and a juice that vapes like a champ, i'll find myself getting woozy on my normal vaping/nic level. I'll be used to not getting quite the production (but still perfectly adequate) from the ecig, so when it's really working well, my usual 18mg might be more than i'd like.

But still, good to have some frame of reference at least.

We started at 24mg and it was weak for me, too strong for the Mrs. She wanted to go down to 16 and its just right for her. I use half 16mg and half 24 as my daily/work flavor and its working great for me. Mrs. is down to a ten mg, but still on the analogs :(

I think the chart is close as a starting point, but you need a few weeks to adjust after that.
