ok , another dumb noob question
when i buy a bottle of 6 mg nicotine liquid , is that 6mg in a 100mg of base liquid .
im just trying to work out what an ultra light gigy would equate to in an e-cig
so if i took say , 10 pufs from a 6mg esig is that about the same as an ultra light anolog ?

Nicotine strength is Xmg/ml. So there would be 18mg of nicotine in 1ml of 18mg strength juice. I used to smoke Camel Lights. They have been reported to have approximately .9mg of nicotine per cigarette. That would equal 18mg per pack, the same amount in 1ml of 18mg juice.

This is not a direct correlation, however, as cigarettes contain chemicals to dispatch bound nicotine molecules, which throws off the comparison, plus smoke is different from water vapor. The best way is for you to try different strengths and find what helps to satisfy you. Right now, for me, 18mg juice does well for me most of the time. Sometimes, I like to have 24mg juice. I pretty much vape non-stop when I am not at work.

Hopefully that helps give you a little better picture. There are studies and whatnot that get very technical if you are interested in going deeper.

There have been studies that show we only absorb about 10% of the nicotine from vapor.
But others cite flaws in those studies.

Yeah, on days when I chain vape because of a new flavour or something, my headache says I am absorbing too much.

I've been vaping for over 6 months now at 18mg. Had originally tried doing it with 12mg juice but it just didn't feel like it was enough for me. Due to a hardware issue I was forced to buy a pack of analogs (Camel Turkish Silver) while I was at the bar on Wednesday night. I ended up chain smoking the whole thing in about 4 hours (though I probably vape at this same rate when I'm out and using the 4081)... At no point did I feel light headed or like I was getting a nic rush of any kind, but I also wasn't feeling unsatisfied (nicotine-wise anyway). So for me it seems like analog smoking is about the equivalent to vaping 18mg juice. The base may effect this too, so for reference, I usually vape PG/VG 60/40 or 50/50.
