I view the fact that I don't get that head rush as proof that I am getting my nic from vaping. When I was smoking and didn't have a cig for 6-8 hours or more I could always look forward to that buzz when I finally lit one up.
When I was dual using I might go days without a cig. Never got a buzz when I'd finally light one up, obviously my nic level was already there from vaping.
I can't imagine expecting a buzz from every puff unless I would be vaping some ungodly high level of nic or possibly only vaping one or two times a day?

Interesting. So how Effective is this "Convection Vaporizing"?

Or in other words, is 100% of the Nicotine in Cigarette Tobacco delivered to the user when they Smoke a Cigarette?

Personally I dont know the answer to that, however Convection herbal tobacco vaporizing has been around longer than e cigs.
Im sure, with enough searching, that data is available.
Be warned: Researching this will lead you to "other stuff" "data" as well, as convection vaping is favored in those circles

You just forgot, it's been so long. ;) Those very first few cigarettes will do it, and if you quit for a LONG time maybe you'll get it again, but you get so used to it you don't get the rush anymore =(
Well you could be right but like I said, I am old so it was a very long time ago. I actually don't think it happened at that time either since I had been breathing cig smoke for the first 18 years of my life before I actually started smoking them myself. I did quit smoking for 6 months several years before I found vaping. I still don't remember any kind of head rush from the first one after 6 months without one. OK, I admit it....I am one of a kind :D

The Reason I asked is because I recall reading somewhere that the Total Nicotine in Cigarette Tobacco is Greater than the Nicotine delivered in Cigarette Smoke. Even when Complete Combustion occurs (No Tobacco left Un-Smoked or Nicotine deposited in a Cigarette Filter).

So the missing Nicotine went Somewhere? And the Critical Thinking thing suggests that Thermal Breakdown of the Nicotine is the Likely the Culprit.

Not sure why this Same Critical Thinking couldn't be used in the Vaporization of e-Liquids that contain Nicotine? And it Wouldn't surprise me if the Delivered Nicotine in Vaping wasn't 100% Efficient.

And the Efficiency was a Non-Linear Function of Atomizer Wire Temperature.

There is also something like this to consider...

unless 100% of vape/smoke is absorbed there is no way to get close to having all nic absorbed. nic vape/smoke is exhaled my two cents

Nobody thinks that 100% of the Nicotine in either Cigarette Smoke or in e-Cigarette Vapor is 100% Absorbed.

But what I think would be a pertinent question is What Percent of Nicotine that is present in a e-Liquid is then found in Vapor coming out of a Drip Tip?

And How does Atomizer Wire Temperature affect this Percentage?

I know, but it was an argument not mentioned for where does all the nic go. that is all. :D wasnt trying to state that anybody didnt already know this, just noticed it had not been said.

Since we're on the cigarette talk...

From what i understood, as mentioned above/previous, the lit end vaporizes the tobacco behind it when you inhail. As it burns more, the more tar builds up and that also vaporizes. Then with most smokers, smoking it till its a CM away from filter, it starts vaporizing the filter material. Another reason why second hand is worse, the bystander only gets the concentrated smoke from your burning cigarette, while your inhailing a filtered smoke and still exhailing more smoke for them.

Their's no tar to stick to the lungs. The tar sticks and you get the nic from that.
E cig the nic is adsorbed differently. I use 36% nic and if I go long enough without it, I'll get a little dizzy when I vape again.
I find I don't use as much e liquid and I don't always have to have my vaping device near by all the time.

The only buzz I ever got from smoking was the first cigarette of the day.

I was convinced for a long time that it was a carbon monoxide rush.
But now I'm not so sure.

It may have been the Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) found naturally in tobacco.
That is where the whole concept of WTA liquid came from.

When I used WTA liquid, I did get a slight "buzz" for a few minutes.
Like when I had that first cigarette of the day.

I've never gotten any kind of buzz from nicotine whatsoever.
But that's just me, and I don't doubt that others might get some kind of buzz.

Nicotine doesn't cause a buzz imo, when I first started vaping and got too much nicotine I just got sick. Cigarettes give you a buzz simply because your' blood is getting saturated with carbon monoxide and it takes a minute for your' body to adjust. I don't have a clue why you don't get that buzz after the first cigarette.
