Nicotine & Distilled Water Only Juice?

Figured I would start with a little bit about myself. I smoked for 10 glorious years and quit in 2005 when my son was born. Since then I have smoked infrequently (4 to 12 times a year) when with friends who still smoke. I have always wanted to start back up but have not due to the health issues. I recently came to the realization that I LOVE NICOTINE. That got me looking into e-cigs which look great but I have an issue with. Why add flavor or the glycol (or whatever it is)? All I want is the nicotine. The fake smoke and flavor seem very novelty to me. Am I the only one?

So, basically I was looking for one of the veterans to let me know if nicotine and distilled water juice is possible. If so, do any companies make it. And, if no one makes it, could I do it myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hoping this catches on and becomes an accepted viable option to smoking!!!

If nicotine is truly the only substance your after, try using the nicotine base juice in a drink such as coffee. Of course If I were you I would clear this method with your primary care physician or a pharmacist first.

Yeah, if you could get nicotine suspended in water, it would oxidize quickly. Then if you could boil the water well enough to get a vapor out, the bitter taste of oxidized nicotine would likely have you gagging.

Why not use a nicotine inhaler?

Or the nicotine gum? Or even the lozenges?

PV's are not for everyone. If the chemical that is given to lung transplant patients, in vapor form, and used to make fake smoke at concerts and haunted houses which PV juice uses to transfer flavor and nicotine to vapers is a concern, then use another form of nicotine.

You don't need a PV to get the nicotine you adore.

People have died, or had asthma attacks from inhaling pure steam (Water->heat->water vapor ->steam). In liquid form, it is called drowning. Fairly dilute (fog, sauna, etc.) it's not too bad, but you wouldn't want to vape it. Very small amounts of water can be added to e-juice to thin it, but I'd stay away from trying to make a water vape. PG/VG is different in how it vaporizes and condenses, is absorbed, etc. Where are DC2's chemists and physicists when ya need em?

EDIT: BTW... as mentioned above, nic-juice is in PG or VG. Pure nicotine would kill ya, so it must be diluted in something.

EDIT AGAIN: When they talk about vape being mostly "water vapor", I think it is because it picks up water from you, or the air, or something like that. That doesn't make "vaping pure water vapor + nic" safe.

I suspect that those that have vaped nicotine and distilled what are using something like 36mg unflavored nic with distilled water. 36mg nic is about 3.6%. The other 96.4% is going to be PG or VG. You can even specify, if you go to freedom smokes. I'm pretty sure you'd have a hard time getting much in the way of vapor if you were to dilute 100mg nic with distilled water. I wouldn't touch pure nic with a 10 foot battle axe wearing a hazmat suit unless I was suicidal.

By the way, if this is the kind if response I get for everything here, I am going to be real happy.
Yeah, you're going to be really happy here.
:)

We really, really want to help new folks learn to use electronic cigarettes like we all did.
There is a learning curve, and it can be somewhat frustrating sometimes, but we've all been there.

We sincerely hope that everyone can experience the wonder that we felt at finally finding a way to stop inhaling burning tobacco.
But more than that, and for selfish reasons, we need to grow our numbers ASAP so we have the strength to fight the attempted bans.

But yeah, after almost two years here, it is still great to see the new people gets off the cancer sticks.
It reminds me of how I felt when it happened to me.
:)
