Nicotine/Grams?

I'm new to using a scale and need to know what the gram weight is for my nicotine so that I can setup my e-juice calculator.

I'm using 100mg nicotine and it's a 50/50 mix so what would the gram weight be per ML?

I tried using a syringe with one ML of nicotine and then checking that on my gram scale but my eyes are so bad I just got to many different readings so I gave up. Just another reason getting old sucks. Thanks!

I use 1.14g/ml for mixing purposes. Nic base, dilutants and flavourings.
100ml = 114g.

You can easilly calculate it yourself when you just know the basic densities i.e. :

Nicotine: 1.01 g/ml
PG: 1.04 g/ml (1.038 to be exact, but rounded to standard two digits, like the precision of most of our weights)
VG: 1.26 g/ml
H2O: 1 g/ml (For bases which adds water, like many vg nicbases)

So... A 100mg 50/50 pg/vg mix, is 10% nicotine, 45% pg and 45% vg, resulting in the following calculation and result:

(10*1.01) + (45*1.04) + (45*1.26) = 113.6 / 100 = 1.14 g/ml (1.136 rounded down to two digits)



Edit: Check your nicbottle or vendors site for the exact pg/vg ratio, because 50/50, can be divided in other ways than standard by some vendors, like e.g. some could use 10% nic, 50%pg and 40% vg etc.

I think your math is off a bit, should be 1.136 or rounded to 1.14 g/ml
