I didn't know where to post this, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong spot.

I've never smoked a cigarette in my life or ever used nicotine, and last month I picked up the ivp d2 mod and a hercules tank, and a dozen bottles of 6 nicotine vape liquids.

I've been vaping with 6 nicotine for the past month or so, so basically coming from a life without nicotine I think I've introduced too much to my body.

My period has stopped completely and I'm in my mid 20's and I've had a lot of anxiety lately. I decided to get off nicotine but keep vaping without it.

but I was wondering if it would be okay to suddenly cold turkey this amount of nicotine I've introduced or should I ween myself off?

The relationship between nicotine and addiction/dependence has never really been conclusively studied outside of the context of smoking. The one study that I do know of was conducted with patches and showed no withdrawal symptoms when the participants stopped using them. Should be fine to stop completely, might be about the same as switching to decaf. NOT A DOCTOR, opinions are my own. Might want to check on other options for why your period has stopped though.
*EDIT* Second what Topwater said, Go see a doctor asap!

Honestly, you did okay stopping the nic..............and since you seem to concerned at the moment, best to just put everything into a drawer.
Find your center again.
Read a bit more about Vaping and keep asking questions if needed.
Should you decide once again to Vape, No need for nic but 3 mg. or less would likely be fine. I say -0- nic if not needed.

* As to Period...............My wife switched off/ on quite often when young. We were constantly wondering ............If........but mostly it was No.
However we did end up with 4 children :D

I have no idea about the the nic stopping your period. I gotta ask if you've ever been irregular? Its completely normal for me to skip a month every other year or so. (yay ;)) I skipped November last year and Jan this year (that totally freaked me out!) I deduced that it was stress for Jan.'s skip. Which brings me to my second question; Have you been stressed lately? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I just thought it might ring some bells, ya know?

If no to either ?? you really should see a doctor. You might have a serious condition or be pregnant. I hope whatever it is, you get it sorted out. :)

    Maybe these will help

Smoking, cortisol and nicotine. - PubMed - NCBI
The elevation in cortisol among smokers is generally attributed to nicotine exposure.....In the second study, cortisol was monitored over 6 weeks of abstinence in 112 smokers treated with behavioural support and 15 mg nicotine patches. Smoking cessation was accompanied by an abrupt decrease in salivary cortisol, and this was sustained over the abstinence period.
Cortisol levels seem to be effected more by Smoking Nicotine than direct intake methods.

Most major studies attribute Nicotine- In Smoke - to higher Cortisol levels. We must consider the effective Delivery method as chemicals in cigarettes are designed to cause a higher response to nicotine in the human body. Vaping does not have these additional chemicals.

    And

Cortisol is a glucocorticoid, also known as hydrocortisone. It’s produced in the adrenal cortex in response to stress (physical or emotional) and according to natural cycles that tend to correlate to circadian rhythms.

A light cigarette? That's all? It's strange how this has completely stopped my period and caused me all these problems, but maybe nicotine's just not for me.

Nothing I've ever read about nicotine suggests to me that going off of it suddenly has any significant side effects.

You don't know for sure that nicotine caused the change in your periods. If I were in your situation I would see my doctor and get good medical guidance.

Best of luck with it :)

I have gotten my period the first day of the full moon every month as long as I can remember. I don't even keep track besides looking at the moon, and all I know is it is going on a new moon and I still haven't gotten it, and it's okay to ask, I've been stressed out very much but that might be because of the rise in cortisol levels I'm getting from the nicotine habit I picked up. You skip a month every other year or so? Maybe that's just happening to me.

Haha I think it's very funny that the community of vapers are all answering my embarrassing question, men and all xD
