I posted this questions in another thread, but no one knew the answer so I am starting this in hopes that someone knows the answer. When an e-juice is listed as strength in mg, what is the ratio of nicotine to other substances? In other words, if an e-juice is 12mg, then is it 12mg per bottle, per cartridge, per drop, per what? How much e-juice will I have to vaporize to get 12mg?

Thanks in advanced.

Dosage generally follows the same patterns as regular, light, and ultra-light strength cigarettes.

If your cartridge is comparable to 10 cigs than it would take vaping to carts to get the mg specified.

Right, I understand that the levels are similar between the low and ultra lights etc.. I would just like to know how the number of mg is determined. There has to be some amount of liquid that has that number of mg inside of it. I just can't seem to find this information posted anywhere. My engineering background for some reason wants to figure this out. There can't be some sort of arbitrarily assigned number to the strength. Is there some sort of regulation on e-liquids to see if they really contain the amount of nicotine as advertised? Is there a way to test it?
