What does the nicotine mg rating actually represent?

I'm still kinda confused as to what the nicotine mg rating actually represents. When a cigarette pack lists the mg on the side of the box, it's for 1 cigarette.

However on these carts, and on the juice bottle labels, what is the mg referring to exactly? Per number of puffs? Per mL?

I used to smoke Nat Shermans (Touch of Clove), I don't recall the amount of nicotine per cigarette, but the juice I've got is 12mg, and it makes me feel pretty woozy just after a few puffs.

Man, I must be a super lightweight then because only 3 puffs and it goes straight to my head (and stomach). I dunno what 3 puffs equals as far as ml, but it can't be very much. I let my mom try it, and she felt crappy after just a couple puffs. This juice is from nhale, the HV juice, and is only 12mg.

I hate to have to dilute it.. the flavor is on the light side. Maybe I'll try some 6mg from someone, see how that feels.

How many cigs did you smoke per day? 12mg e-juice is pretty low. That's the strength I use and I used to smoke a 3 qtr. pack of ultra-lights a day. Some of the members here use 24 and 36 mg e-juice. Anything over 14 is too strong for me. Try cutting it w/some plain PG or VG and see if that helps. Or get some lower mg nic juice.

You can always get a doubler which is a flavored eliquid without nicotine and add it to your eliquid, Tasty Vapor has a bunch that are fairly cheap. Check under "customize your own" for a complete list of their flavors.

I was an off and on smoker. I have a strange ability to quit addictive substances when it starts getting out of hand.. kinda like a built in fail-safe. It's saved my ... from some pretty dangerous addictions.

When I did smoke, I either smoked Nat Shermans, which would be maybe 2 of those a day.. or I smoke Belmont Milds (king size), and that was anywhere from 2-6 depending on the day/night/weekend.

So either way, I was a pretty light smoker. 3 puffs on this 12mg juice is nothing though... that's like what, 1 or 2 drops at the most. I'm not sure why I'm so sensitive to it. nhale's HV juice is PG and VG, isn't it?

Buy some 6mg e-liquid. You might also try some VG e-liquid because some people don't get along well with PG e-liquid.

If you were that light a smoker, you may not even need nic juice. Get some 0 mg juice or 6 mg at the very most.

My personal experience was that after leaving a pack a day habit, I need to maintain a 24-36 mg liquid. I havent gotten any nicotine rushes nor felt any cravings at those levels....anything less, however, leaves me with a Jones....

I was a one or two day a week smoker of ultima or ultra lights, while going out.The 6 mg is almost too strong for me now .Do chain vape when vaping or when analog cigs where my choice two-three packs were consumed in a night out.Now I vape the same amount but do feel the nic more than when choking down 2-3 packs in a twelve hour period.Trust your body it knows whats right.
