I've been vaping for maybe a month now, though lately I've been probably hitting it almost constantly. I've started getting a dizzy and nauseous feeling today... I wonder if anyone else has experienced this as well, because when looking up the symptoms of nicotine overdose, it seems like it fits my current dilemma. Might I need to seek medical attention or will it just go away if I lay off the vaporizer for awhile?

I'd just lay off vaping for a little bit, at least cut back. It's the same idea of when you smoked too many cigs in a day or when you first started smoking and you'd get a head rush and nausea. Nicotine is poison and your body has developed a tolerance for it. When you go beyond that tolerance, that's essentially an overdose.

Monitor your nicotine intake or cut it out altogether and you should be fine. If you cut it out completely and dont feel better within a day, you might want to seek help over it.

You're most likely right. I've laid off my vape since posting that about a half hour ago and I'm feeling fine again. I think I need to cut my liquid down to a really low dose or even none... cause I can't put that thing down sometimes... haha. I don't know about the rest of you, but quitting smoking for me is a lot about habit and less about nicotine addiction.

I think Jim Davis has it right, at least it did for me: I had the exact same experience as you did. When I first started, I got the OD symptoms from 16 mg. I would be fine if I only took a puff or two then set it down, but because it was new, I was vaping constantly with my new "toy", only to make myself sick.

So after a month, I found two things have helped:
1. Cut my daytime use to 11mg
2. For nightime and long-session vaping, I drop to either 6 mg or 0 mg to keep from getting that sick/dizzy feeling.

I've also started treating this differently than an analog--if I get a craving, I take a few inhales and put it down and wait a couple of minutes. There isn't that immediate nic relief of an analog, but it is there after a minute or two. Once I got used to that, my routine changed and the nauseous feelings went away. Depending on my stress level, I may use it a couple of times an hour to once every few hours.
