Yes, I have been looking around at some suppliers for different equipment. I like the 510 and think I can make do with it for the time being, but I find that even when I get it producing decent vapor it's still a lot more difficult to draw on than analogs. I have a bunch of samples and have found flavors that are tasty, but none that I find completely satisfying, almost just feels like I am not getting enough concentration of them. Throat hit and vapor quantity is there with most of them, some even too much so, but somehow the flavor always seems less rich and dynamic than tobacco, leaving me with a craving. Which models/vapors would you suggest that might help with these shortcomings?

Thankfully, my headache has finally subsided and the fog is clearing a bit. It's been many years since I have made it longer than 8 hours without a cigarette and I think withdrawal explains the agony I was feeling earlier today. It has amazed me how hard it's been even with a steady supply of nicotine from the ecig. I never realized how much my body and mind has really been depending on all the other junk. Very scary to realize how deep rooted and relentless my addiction has gotten, but I am only more determined now not to go back just to have to go through this all over again one day.

I'm really sorry your having a rough time, but good for you for sticking with it!

I'm definitely not telling you to do this because I think it's great that you're sticking it out, but I did have a few cigs when I started. It got to be less and less until I didn't smoke any. But it's not an easy thing to do.

The 18 and the 24 nicotine- were they the same brand of juice or different juices?

Ok, clue us in. What have you tried so far in flavors? What do you like or not like?

I went right for the "cigarette" flavors in my first order. Didn't want to get into all that weirdo cherry, licorice, cinnamon stuff. :p Being a Pall Mall smoker I had to try the Boge "Pal Mal" and that's my favorite all day vape. I also tried the Boge "USA mix" - which is their take on Marlboro. It's ok, but I like the Pal Mal better. Another favorite has been IntelliCig EcoPure Rich flavor.

All of these are available through Cignot.com in sample sizes.

Do keep in mind that vaping isn't a cigarette. The tobacco flavors won't equal a cigarette experience. They will in different ways mimic the flavor, but none of them are going to bring you a true cigarette experience. It's just not built the same, so to speak.

You may want to try vg liquids in the next order of samples to see if you like the experience better than PG liquids.

Im very new to this , and was mildly pleased with the experience for the first couple of days , but the tobacco juice I was using just wasnt doing it for me . Soo , after reading some posts in this great forum , I purchased some PG based food flavorings ( coffee and rum ) , and mixed them in with the original Ejuice. VOILA ! Better taste , better TH and just the right amount of vapour ! 30ml bottles are only 98 cents each , cant complain about that !!

I suspect you are going to get a thousand answers on best flavors. I was former Benson& Hedges, lights smoker but would occasionally do Marlboro lights. I finds Liberty-Flights PG, Churchill (like in Winston) to be a good match for prior smoking and tastes. Luxury Blend, also PG, is other good one IMO. 510 is my choice as well. Have tried carts and tanks. Prefer tanks to avoid constant re-filling or topping. 650mah or larger bat essential IMO Biggest early-on problem was inconsistency. Have spare bats, attys and tanks/carts available to reduce consistency issue. My 2 cents.

As you can see, everyone is different.

Headaches that started when you started vaping, usually seem to be caused by

- too much nic i.e. too high nic or too much vaping (vasoconstriction)
- auto batteries you are needing to suck too hard (muscle ache)
- dehydration
- and for people with TMJ, the inflexible larger size of the end of the ecig and possibly #2 also

But since people get a variety of symptoms getting off of the 4000 chemicals in cigs, it could be something else or it could be unrelated to vaping. But the most common cause seems to #1. Some guy and his wife started this week on the same juice. He was fine and she got headaches. He got her lower nic and she was fine.

I really don't think it is that simple or necessarilly true that the common issue is too much nicotine when someone stops putting 4000+ chemicals in their body. I think you are over-laying your own experience on to everyone else. I think it is just as likely and possibly even more so, that symptoms such as headaches, when someone stops a 10 or 20 or 30 year smoking habit, is the STOPPING THE SMOKING, not the nicotine from vaping. And by pushing that idea prominently , you will be influencing new people to continue to smoke instead of to vape.

It is late where I am - by my standards. wv2win - I am tending to agree with you. Perhaps nic'd out - but I'm thinking not. Just such a wide, wide variance between individuals and their systems response to the gazzillion of stimuli that we deal with. My belief, for humans, one needs to look carefully at those plus or minus variations from the mean or those SD numbers that sometimes come with numbers, like, even, how much mg is in the juice. Ranges are involved and for humans, in many cases, quite broad. For OP, head in direction that makes things seem right for your system. If it takes you to 24mg juice, OK, it will kill you (if it will) less quickly that analogs. If it takes you to 36, still better than analogs - IMO. Get OK with e-cigs and, if you feel like it, head downward a bit with time. Don't hang on mg excessively. Do what is needed to stay away from the analogs. Just another of several variations of opinions out there. Mine may be close to the "mean" at the moment.
