Hello! Been a long time since I've posted. I've used the same WL and MFS nic for over a year (may have been a bad idea but I'm still here so whatevah), and am up for another round of ordering. I wanted to combine my two questions in order to keep thread pollution to a minimum! Especially since they probably both get asked a lot.

Question one! Where do you buy your nic from? I tried to peruse the nic comparison thread but it just seems to go in phases and while there may be some value discussion, it seems quite buried. Therefore I'm curious who peoples number one vendor is. I'd like to go with Wizard labs again because they are so cheap, but I remember quite an off-putting smell and a seemingly strong flavor from it. I think myfreedomsmokes were the other vendor I ordered from and their nic was just fine, but I'm still curious about the best value since that is what's driving me back to DIY.

Question two! I am, quite frankly, addicted to several premium brands. My thing is, though... I feel that it was just a fad made popular in B&M's. There's the house juice, and then there's this premium stuff that gets put on a pedestal because most house juices are just people taking recipes from here and there, half ... diluting them, and slapping a ....ty label on. Premium juice, however, seems to be well made and well mixed. Probably from folks who did their research and found out what makes great vapor and what tastes best. I guess my overall question for this terribly confusing paragraph is... What flavor vendors are people using? TFA, from my experience, was really the best in terms of great straightforward fruits and such. Notsomuch for tobaccos, but I can't vape those anymore anyway. That also leads me to the realization that I've only tried TFA and ....ty chinese super concentrated DIY fruit flavors, both of which I enjoyed.

Sorry for the long read, I kinda just spew thoughts as text. In case of TL:DR, read bold/underlined/italics

I've purchased nic many times from WL and have never had trouble. I recently ordered from Heartland Vapes, and it's just as good, around $70 for a litter with a coupon. Though I don't think the coupon works anymore. I'm going to try VT, but the price is higher.

My go to flavor suppliers are FlavourArt, Inawera, TFA, and Hangsen.

Here's a blog with cost comparison: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rs-available-quantities-price-comparison.html

And one on where to buy favors: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ist-diy-flavor-flavour-suppliers-vendors.html

Thank you all for your input! I may try WL again just in the interest of saving money, but VT sounds like it is probably the way to go. Maybe I'll save that for when I have some savings built up.

As far as the premium thing... Hoosier, I'd agree. That is kind-of where I was going with it. I can't see them really using anything aside from what we use on a daily basis, I think it's just the research that goes into them. Like getting steak from outback and then going to a real steakhouse. Is the beef that much different? In ways, yes, but it's still cow. You aren't going to get the same quality due to the skill of the chefs.

The only reason I asked is really more that once somebody told me that some premiums are up to 60% flavoring. I found that rather ridiculous, having accidentally vaped straight flavoring once. It's gotta be all about the right balance of pg, vg, and flavors.

Edit: I was also meaning to compare the quality of beef to the quality of the base. XD

I once saw a guy on TV removing grape juice from a white carpet with no scrubbing using pure magic in a bottle.

I never said I believed it! XD

I actually have new vapers ask me about it all the time, which is why I asked. What scares me is the fact that everywhere you go people make up ridiculous crap like that. I had some owner of a B&M tell me that a thick ... layer of oil is normal, since all e-juice is oil based. (Why would there be a layer of the same material on top? >_<)
