you do not have to get nicotine from tobacco in fact there are many plants in the night shade family that all produce nicotine now with that said if anyone try's to out law vaping nicotine they must out law all forms of nicotine and you can not do that according to fda law. Also big tobacco will never allow it. The Sherman act is basically that no one can by action or in action form a monopoly so don't let them sue the city that does not allow you to sell use buy or what ever you want to do with vaping nicotine under the law you are allowed to use a nicotine patch until they out law that your safe from any thing they try ias always its up to you to stand or fall
