So I've been doing DIY for about a year now and have always used 100mg/ml nicotine but the place I get it from also has 36mg and some other concentrations what is the benefit if any of using something like 36mg/ml nicotine? 100mg is so much easier to math for

I don't think the Math is all that Bad for Any Milligram Level of Nicotine Base one buys. And once you know how to do it for a Given Level, a person should be able to Do It for Any Given Level.

But the Main Reason I see people buying something else Besides 100mg is what Shirtbloke said in Post #2. Simplicity.

If I vape 18mg as my Day-2-Day e-liquid, think how Easy it is to just by 18mg Nicotine Base in my desired PG:VG ratio and then just add Flavoring/Sweetener.

No PG or VG to Buy. No Array of Lab Glassware and or Syringes or a Scale. And Nothing to Wash after Mixing. Just add some Drops of Flavoring/Sweetener, Shake and you are Done.

Doesn't get much Easier than That.

BTW - Because what I outlined above is so Easy is the Reason many DIY-ers make "Pre-Mix". Which is made from Nicotine Base that is Higher than their Day-2-Day Flavored e-liquids.
