This - "Tasty Vapor owner Geoff Braithwaite has confirmed that a shipment of 12 kilograms of pharmaceutical nicotine was seized. That’s about 3 one-gallon jugs by our calculations. According to Braithwaite, the seizure may have occurred because the content was mislabeled as multi-purpose cleaner." - is the only confirmed report according to that article. Everything else is rumor. It's enraging and scary, but perhaps should be taken with a grain of salt until more is known.

I think the government and all its agency’s these days are bought and payed for by big tobacco, banks, oil and media company’s
if anything does not include profit or affect’s there profit then they fight it tooth and nail until they can make it illegal or make it so heavily regulated that is is no longer profitable for anyone.

it does not surprise me that the FDA is butting there nose into e-cigs its hurting there interest in many tobacco products,im sure they will have them banned long before they can dig up any evidence that they are harmful considering the tobacco company's have been trying to find something wrong with them for years and has been unsuccessful.

There are unconfirmed reports that many bigger companies have lost shipments to the FDA. Among them possibly, pharmaceutical company Glaxosmithkline (makers of Nicorette gum), tobacco company R.J. Reynolds, and electronic cigarette vaporizing liquid supplier Johnson Creek. A recent shipment to Johnson Creek that was seized is believed to have been around 240 kilograms (that about 550 pounds).

hmmmm ...

By what authority does the FDA seize nicquid shipments?

I had a couple hundred dollar order of snus from Sweden nabbed in Philly customs by the FDA. I was nervous for a few days because the status never changed, the a week or so later it was released without comment. Not sure what the reason might have been. The package didn't appear disturbed.

It has never been tobacco companies--it is big Pharma, Legacy which is supported by RJWF and the "Health groups"-Heart Association,Cancer Society,Lung Association. The Health groups receive funds from Johnson and Johnson,Glaxzo Smith-Kline to promote Nicorette, patches, Chantix, etc. The FDA has no "partnership with tobacco companies. Actually tobacco companies want to get into the e-cig market as evidenced by Lorillards" purchase of Blu ecigs.
