Nicotine Taste

My question if you don't want to read all of the below is, where is a good place to get high concentration on nic with VG base WITH LITTLE TO NO thoat hit?

I have done a search and found some suppliers posted two and a half years ago about my question. Alot can change in that time.

I bought so DIG base, nice, flavor from a vendor (not one I see on the forum vendor list). I mixed up a batch and it was horrible. Burnt thoat and taste like bad chemicals?

I first took out the flavors and results were the same, then took outout the nic. With just VG it was wonderful. Added back just VG and flavor and still great. So you can see problem lies with the nic.

The nic is VG base that is mixed with the same VG that is wonderful. It at 100mg/mL. I first mixed it at 15mg/mL a little less then what I am vaping with premix. Once I found out it the problem was thethe nic I went down to 5mg/mL to try to atleast use this product but it is still rancid. No sighs of discoloration in the nic and does have a slight pepper taste on exhale which I could live with if not for the other awfulness but if I could choose I would choice no pepper.

I am currently in contact with vendor about issue but would like to try some other suppliers while I wait to see how that plays out. Thanks for the responses in advance and will try the top to two votes of vendors.

I buy almost all my nicotine from Nude Nicotine. Very little to no taste but you're going to get throat hit. That's just the nature of nicotine. I recently bought some NicSelect nicotine mix from Nicotine River. Someone on here had said that it was good, also, and is quite a bit cheaper than NN, but I haven't used any of it yet. Both suppliers have lab analysis results available on the purity of their products.

Yeah have heard TH goes with nic which 18mg/mL premix (the stuff I get) is vapable, any higher is to much for me. This stuff I can't even do 5mg/mL and it has lab analysis. Plus I came off smoking pall mall red shorts..

I Like Wizard Labs Nic, alot of other vendors I've tried tasted peppery.

When I was reading older the topics (the one from two and a half years ago) Wizardlabs was mentioned a few times so they should be worthy of a try. I will also try Nicotine River. Thanks for the response and if anyone else has a lead please reply cause I will keep tring vendors till I find a vapable nic.

I use MFS 100 nic base (100VG) and have no problems with it even up to 45 nic lvls... a bit peppery, no chemical taste... but then again I like the taste of nic ...

Has anyone tried Nude Nicotine 100mg/ml lot number A087, seems to be newer with Analysis date 8/6/15. If so how was it?

Got nic from Nicotine River, sight pepper taste but can be vaped with no issues. Has a slight yellow tint. Shipping cost more then the product. Was supposed to be Nicselect but was missing label information, only had company and contents on label. Was sealed with a taper seal. All in all I can actually use this product so I am satisfied.

Have some Wizard Labs coming also.

I use MFS. 100mg VG base. Never had an issue. I actually have quite a bit from RTS also. Never had an issue with them either.

Maybe a dumb question for op, but did you try to shake up the bottle of nic base before using it? That was my mistake when trying my first diy. I ordered 24mg pg base and a bunch of vg, hoping to get 6mg 25/50 pg vg juice and the first batch was awful. Shook up the nic base for the next batch and all went well.

About a month ago some ECF member did outstanding job: they blind tested nic from several wendors (the testing was organized by @Rossum). It was found out that the most clean, tastless nic of tested was one from Nude Nicotine (but some people like peppery nic...):

However, I use NN nicotine, and it is still peppery... You can order 15 ml sample of 100 mg nic from them for $2 and decide for yourself.

That is just the nature of nicotine.
It is fundamentally .... well,,, not something your body wants a lot of, so your body warns you.

It's like alcohol; a little or moderate amount is good, but too much / too high a concentration and your body say WHOAHHHHH!

Yeah I here good things bout NN but the nic issue is with there supply with lot number listed. I also got VG and flavor from them which I really like.

I emailed the company and received a email asking if I let the flavor seep (even though I explained flavor wasn't the issue) and if I shook the nic, also did several time before bottling and using in mix. I let them know this and never heard back about a week and a half ago. All the nic I received from NN is now garbage. If someone tries the lot number let me know if it is just me or maybe a bad batch.

Like I said before Nicotine River is usable but peppery which doesn't bother me to much. Usable is a must for a product.

Nicotine solutions can, under certain circumstances, easily last a year opened and several unopened and froze/refrigerated.

If yours is already yellow and or going bad I suspect you got very old stock, and that may be part of the problem.

I found an old bottle in a cabinet kinda yellowed and had a heck of a bite to it. But fresh the peppery taste should not be very strong it will be there but it shouldn't be enough to override the rest of the mix unless the batch is out of date or oxidized.

I use MFS too and have never ad a problem. The peppery taste is usually associated with old stock from what I have seen.

Regular Mixed Nicotine 100mg/ml or 200mg/ml
