To start off, I started vaping about 8 months ago. Got my first 901 back then and quit analogs that same minute I tried it, never went back.

I love smoking and e-cigs have given me something to enhance something I love doing already (works beautifully together). The only problem is I ship to boot camp in 2 weeks and have to give up nicotine! 8-o

I quit my copper 510 cold turkey 2 days ago and WOW, cravings are just as bad if not worse than when I was smoking analogs!

For those who have quit entirely or those who quit for only a few months, how long will these cravings last? I could have sworn that the majority of the cravings were caused by all the MAOI's in analogs, but I guess I was wrong. Just need some feedback to get past these next two weeks because trust me, once im at boot camp, I wont have to worry about e-cigs :D, I just want to make the transistion easier

My personal favorite and only choice
6v 510 Copper
12mg nic
I used to smoke 12 analogs a day when I used to smoke them
I vaped almost every single second of every single day after that with a few exceptions here and there, yes, I chain vaped all day every day

Dion, I can't believe they'd be worse, I've done worse!
Everytime I cut down I've been fine, cannot notice any further withdrawal from 24mg down to 6mg.
You say you were a heavy vaporer, so maybe cut it back to like 6mg for am and 0mg for pm for a few days, see how that goes. You should be at a stage where maybe a little would be enough to kind of gear up for the big day.
An increase in excercise if you're anticipating boot camp (you may already be doing some running, etc), will help a lot also, at least some power walking. Also lots of fresh fruits, veggies, lots of water, and some say Orange juice really helps cravings also.
Best of luck to you!!

I quit (smoking) when I went to boot camp way back when...since no one else is smoking/vaping and your routine is going to be turned completely upside down and directed by others, it might be easier to forget to vape than you think. I know that was true for me!

I'd say cut down instead of going cold turkey now...enjoy your time, on your own terms, while you can - dont let cravings and nicotine withdrawal affect your ability to spend quality time with those around you.

Thank you, in advance, for your service!

If they do not allow nicotine at boot camp, can't you still bring your PV with 0mg juice? Well, nevermind that. They take all of your worldly possesions and leave you with nothing. Even your cell phone ect. You have no contact with the outside world until you're done.

My friend went to boot camp in February and graduated recently. Once you graduate you will get your stuff back, it will be several months. At that point I would consider giving up nicotine altogether but would keep some 0mg around just for the joy of vaping afterwards.
