depends on the cigarette... on average a ciggie has 1.2 mg per ciggie... therefore you need to find out how many puffs you get from 1 ml of juice ( depends on user preference..tootle puffer or clouder)

so basically one can get 3 mg of nic from 3 ciggies... or 3 mg from 1 ml of 3 nic juice

I on the otherhand, I do 36 nic at 5 ml per day... which equates to 180 mg of nic daily... if one were to compare that to ciggies, were looking at 90 ciggies a day ( considering 2 mg per ciggie) which is 4.5 packs a day, which goes to show that we really dont absorb the full amount of nic from vaping.... or from ciggies... and actually, if one were to think about it, how many of the 3 PAD ciggies were left in the ashtray just to burn away to ashes, and how many were snubbed out 1/2 way thru... so did we actually smoke as much as we bought?

There is no accurate way to measure 1ml of 3mg/ml = x amount of cigs.
Absorption rate of nic varies from person to person, different delivery devices are more & less efficient in delivering nicotine.
Cotinine tests will give results of nic present in your body, if you're worried about it for some reason.

Nicotine is no more harmful than caffeine unless you have heart problems.

we have the capacity to self regulate how much nic we desire ( want/need/crave) too little and we go for more, too much and we feel funky... quit worrying about how much you are doing and continue reducing the ciggie intake :)

going from smoking to vaping is like going to school.... some can get the A's from just listening and others need to take the time and do the homework.... its different for everyone

I'm in the quit worrying about it camp. Your body will tell you if you're getting too much, the same way it tells you if you've consumed too much caffeine, alcohol or pizza. You'll be physically uncomfortable. My vape lives in my hand and I don't worry about it at all. I know I must be getting enough since I don't want to smoke but not so much that it makes me uncomfortable.

Oh I have no problem vaping and not smoking cigs. I've had one in the past 4 days. I'm just worried about how many times I hit my vape and what all the nicotine is doing to my heart just cause a loved one of mine just passed away due to heart disease and failure.

Heart disease is very very common in people and it's causes are many . If you have notoriously high blood pressure and feel your heart racing a lot i would be concerned but if not i wouldn't worry excessively about it.

Eating correctly and everyday exercise is the most important aspect of keeping heart disease at bay and switching to vaping over smoking is "HUGE" , congratulations on making that transition .

As mentioned , seeing a physician is of the utmost importance in maintaining your health and modern medicine has been prolonging the lifespans of many people in todays world .

Excessive worrying is one of the worst things for your health , cut that out will you please.

Very well said  I discovered years ago that worrying could be detrimental to my health so now I don't sweat the small (or even the big) stuff. Worrying never solved a problem. Like you, my device seldom ever leaves my hand.

That's what I was trying to say. I vape a lot and was just wondering if it was bad that my mod is always glued to my hand haha
