Vapemail coming in today! I will have my Nimbus in a couple hours and proceed with my build.

Some background information, I have AW IMR 18650 2000Mah batteries with a 10 amp limit on them...
I have a Legacy Mechanical mod
I will be using 30 gauge kanthal
and 2mm or 3mm silica wick (not sure on that one yet)

Because of my 10 amp limit, I was going to try to stay around 1.6 ohms for each of my coils for a total of .8ish ohm dual setup.

I needed a little bit of help, this will be my first dual coil attempt. I was thinking with .30 gauge kanthal and 2mm/3mm silica wick, id need 5/6 wraps?

30AWG = 0.25mm Kanthal, just so we're sure what we're talking about.
0.25mm Kanthal D = .275ohm per cm
Each coil needs to be 6cm long.
6 x 0.275 = 1.65ohms, a smidge of that is gonna be the legs of the coil.
Maybe make the bits you cut about 6.5cm long to allow for leg room, you'll be more likely to hit 0.8ohms that way. With 6cm you'd be floating around 0.7-0.75ohms depending on how small a leg you can deal with.

Oh goody mathematics! Thank you for the conversions though. Still waiting on the mail lady to get here. The anticipation is killing me.

Don't forget that you WILL need some legs to get the coils as close to the airholes as possible.

Also... you will more than likely need to drill the airholes before using the nimbus... for some reason from the factory they come with such tiny airholes they're almost unusable... especially at .8(too hot, no vapor)

But grindle has it right... always cut your wire based on a mathmatical calculation of the desired resistance, never just randomly coil a wire... decide your resistance, factor in legs, cut your wire and go from there.

If you have an android phone there is a great app that helps with these calculations Vaper's Toolbox I use it all the time. It can even calculate for dual, quad, etc. coils

I ordered from Vaporlabs and I paid a few extra bucks for them to drill out larger air holes for me. I could do it myself, but im lazy.

Also for 6cm long wire to get the desired .8 ohms, should I use 2mm or 3mm silica wick? I usually double over the wick.

One other question. .8ohms is gonna be about 6 amps, my aw imr 2000mah batteries have a 10amp limit, I will be okay right? No face melting?
