Just over nine months now completely tobacco-free.

Over the course of time have dropped my e-juice nicotine level from 18mg to 12mg and my latest order (FreedomSmokeUSA) is for 6mg.

No excessive weight gain. No negative effects that I can tell -- only positive results.

My original goal was to reach 0 nicotine level in about one year and so far I am on track with that.

Whether or not I continue vaping :vapor: when I reach 0 nicotine, I will have to see. At that time, with my nicotine addiction gone, I will decide whether I will continue to vape, but it will be more like chewing gum -- relatively harmless and just for fun.

Ya'll tickle me, you make it sound like a race to see who can get to 0mg the fastest. I spent 36 years rewiring my brain to believe that nicotine was a natural part of it, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's not gonna get over not having it in just a couple of months. I've been vaping almost two years now, started at 24mg, then 18mg, now at 12mg, maybe in the next 6 months to a year I'll try 6mg. The point is not stopping the nic as fast a possible, but letting my brain adjust to not having something it thinks it needs. After all e-cigs are leaps and bounds safer the analogs, and your body starts healing from analogs while using them. Why take a chance of going back to analogs if you don't have to??

Cigs are a real personal thing for us so that is why i like this section because you really see how different
people are & what they view as success.
I think it is just natural for people with the same goals to bond here & relate back similar experiences.

Gratz dhewey I def can relate to the goal here.

I went directly from 24 to 3 & went through physical hell for a good month
I was just too worried about vaping with the crazy frequency I had been at such a high level of nic.
After vaping like mad one stressful saturday I ended up with nicotine poisoning.

The next day I came here & was given the suggestion to cut it with VG.
I did way down to 3.
My next order I got 6mg & then used the VG to make 8 bottles from the 4
that cut it to 3mg.

Knock on wood, no weight gain here either. I worried about that. Not any different than when I was on them.

I am still on 18 mgs and want to switch to 12 mgs, but admittedly, get a bit worried about it and keep ordering 18 mgs! LOL
