Is it ok to use my nitecore d4 battery charger in any plug socket which is working in my house. Silly question I know but I use my multiplugs and one says 'Total max load 13 amps'. Is that the power split between the four points and will the nitecore safely draw the power which it needs? Thanks
The four bays of the D4 are split into two "channels" of two bays each, which can provide up to 750mA (0.75 Amps) per channel for a total of 1.5A. So even if it drew another 1.5A for itself on top of that (and it's really probably a lot less than that), that's still only three amps. But yes, that "total max load" means from all four plugs put together. That's what "total" means. So if you have 11 amps worth of load connected to the other three sockets already, you probably shouldn't run the D4 on the fourth one.
