havent smoked in 3 weeks, thought it would be a great alternative.
read about all the health benefits, and all signs pointed to this being a reliable product.
first cartridge lasted me a about a week, then it began to taste funny.
i replaced the cartridge and the original flavor returned, until....
about 3 or 4 puffs in, the burnt taste came back.
I looked through numerous forums about this problem and saw that people were saying
it could be that the cartridge was being burnt, or that i was inhaling some primer fluid.
so i decided to cut open the cartridges and i found that a wire that ran through the nicotine filled cloth was black.
I then cut open the other cartridge that i just used for the first time and after 3 or 4 pulls it too was black on the inside.
not that i expected much from something out of 711, but it was not worth 20 bucks, thats 2 packs...

Sounds like U Need an Upgrade, try a 510 or an eGo(both use a 510 connection, but the eGo has a more substantial battery life and can generate alil more voltage.) Ecigs at a gas station are only good for one thing...A quick fix if your other device has failed. Ecigs found at a Gas station or in a mall kisosk are usually priced alot higher than they should be. The 510 and eGo are the most raved about for the intial switch due to battery power, flavor, TH, and the ability to mod. With A 510 you can also refill your cartridges, opt to buy cartomizers, and even drip with a bottle of e juice (Which is said to be a benefit, to increase the flavor, TH to your ecig experience.) Dont Buy fromm 711, upgrade IMO.

A NJoy Pro would appear to be a 4081 model, and replacement parts are available at a number of different vendors.
There is a list of ECF registered suppliers on the front page, they're good enough to put up with any and all complaints from the ECF members, (fire tested :) )

The blacking of the filler inside would indicate you have been letting them get too dry without refill. So long as you keep a carto wet with juice it shouldn't burn. That said the cartos are considered disposable / replaceable after use, i.e. when the flavor or draw gets lousy.

p.s. Welcome to ECF!!

I also started with an NJoy 7-11 kit. It's an overpriced and underperforming rip-off, however it's a much better deal than the mall rip-off varieties that many get locked into. Having said that, since I had originally gone into the 7-11 to buy a pack of smokes, it's the best $20 I've ever spent. So, kudos to N-joy and 7-11, for making them available. Overall, it's not a horrible kit or price point, for dipping your toes in the water.

Now, get a real kit. While you can easily refill those cartos with juice, there are many better kits out there. So, find a better kit (ego or 510), and order it. Also order some juice. Meanwhile, don't feel too bad about plopping down another $20, for NJoy cartos from the 7-11. You will need something to keep you off smokes, and it sounds like they've done the trick so far. And do order from somewhere with fast shipping. Liberty-flights is lightning fast...

I too started with the Npro. Honestly, it wasnt too bad. Of course, it was my only attempt at ecigs. My shiny new stainless 510 is charging as I type. =)

I did burn one or 2 carts on the Npro, but I considered it a learning curve. Everyone raves about the 510. We shall see=)

I got,the manual one, which means you push a botton to activate the atomizer instead of just puffing it ot activate it.

I also ordered 3 bottles of ejuice to tide me over and find a flavor I like.
Dont go back to cigs, order a better unit, I haven had a cig since I started with the njoy.
Its al ready worth it =)

Like others I started on the Npro Dual 2n1 as well, specifically several months ago for an extended trip and at the time it seemed to completely fill the need. I have since discovered there is so much more out there for e-cigs. It's a learning process like many have said, but this is what I learned when starting out with the Njoy.

The Njoy 2N1 "cartomizers" or "refills" can sometimes be dry or barely filled when they are new. Although they come date stamped as to when they are best used by it seems that some "refills" (aka cartomizers) aren't always completely filled or could possibly have sat around too long on the shelf and dried out. It's a theory I have, but it's the only way I can explain why one cartridge you can puff on it for a hundred times with no problem, while others you get a few puffs out of it and it's dried up and you're getting that burnt taste. I guess it depends on quality control, how long the refills have been sitting on the shelf, mind you this is just my opinion.

I also found out if I try to inhale like I would a real cigarette, more specifically trying to take two large puffs back to back I would end up overheating the filler material holding the e-liquid and unintentionally scorching/burning the filler material. I learned that it's more like sipping hot coffee compared to drinking a cold soft drink. If you "hit it hard" you'll defeat the wicking action of the filler material and the end result is burning the filler material near the coil in the refill. A slower less aggressive "hit" will allow the filler material to wick e-liquid to the coil resulting in fewer scorchings/burnings of the refill and better vapor production.

When I first started I actually went in front of the mirror and tried a regular cigarette compared to the Njoy e-cig to see how I was "smoking". I wanted to see the "smoke" from both and to figure out what I had to do in order to get the same feeling from the e-cig compared to the real cigarette. Sounds a little nutty, but I found it helpful. If I had known about the e-ciggarette-forums back then I know my learning curve would have been greatly helped. :)

I decided since I had purchased the Njoy "kit" with the recharger, several batteries, and numerous refills that there must be some way of using the batteries and charger without having to spend more money on my replacement for cigarettes. I found several online suppliers that have compatible "refills" or cartomizers that are pre-filled with e-liquid, or empty so you can put your own e-liquid in the cartomizers. The cartomizers (pre-filled or empty) go by the product line of RN4081 that you can use with the Njoy Pro Dual 2n1 batteries, but it's always good to double check with a vendor first just to be 100% certain.

Like others have suggested a 510 kit might actually be the better way to go. Since you purchased a $20 Njoy kit and not the more expensive $70 kit like I had, I would suggest getting a 510 kit. It's just a suggestion, but having come from Njoy and moved on to 510 I can say from personal experience that you'll enjoy the opportunities that a 510 will give you. The best benefit I have had moving to 510 was saving money on the cost of supplies. There are a huge number of online retailers that carry supplies that have discounts, sales, special programs that help keeps cost low.

Is this a the same e-cig like "7-11" brand? If yes don't buy this. The automatic battery is a very poor quality and didn't last.
I spent 40$ for the kit and it was working only for a week before the battery broke. It works only if I blow IN and the light stay ON all the time.
They should make them manual.

njoy npro is rn4081 so any 4081 products will work with it. i have been using it for 3 months now. the cartomizers that njoy makes can be a little inconsistent. the first batch i had lasted about 5 weeks with me refilling with eliquid. since then i have not had as much luck in making them last. dont know if i changed my style of vaping since i use 4081 cartomizers and attys on it. have to keep them super wet for one which is easily done by dripping 3-4 drops on the battery end or by rocking off the tan cover and sliding it off. then drop 4-6 drops on the filler depending on how dry it is. like i said i havent had as much luck on my last few purchases of them, but hey! i could run to the 7-11 to get it and that was a big preventer of me picking up an analog! i am (OVER EAGERLY) awaiting my e-power scheduled to be here monday and hope that i can start using my njoy as a back up or as my discreet pv. it does do a pretty darn good job of vaping and i still havent smoked in 3 months. all in all a good intro. best of luck!

and njoy is fighting the fda so they can have my vote =)
