Everyone has different tastes in juices, so if the OP had just said he/she didn't like the NLV juices he/she tried I could understand that. But saying they all taste like bacon just doesn't ring true.

I don't know what the OP's objective is and will not specify my speculations, but will just say that I find the post distasteful.

Taste is subejective as we all know. That being said I cannot believe what I'm reading in this thread. I have always seen/read nothing but nice remarks from alot of people and all of a sudden that flips around. He came here trying to find out if anything was wrong with his juice and now people are accusing him of trying to poor mouth a juice vendor. His first post was almost over a month ago asking about a PV and since he only had 2 posts prior to this thread he could not ask this anywhere else. Just my :2c:.

OP: Contact NLV and if your issue is not resolved put any negative commens in the supplier section, good luck.

I will say that I LOVED bounty hunter with a carto on the Kgo. BUT when I switched to a reo and an atty, every single juice tasted the same-almost cinnamony at the time (now I think I was actually getting more of the nicotine flavor vs the actual flavoring). I have since gone back to using a carto on my reo and bounty hunter has regained its yummy goodness :)

So my vote is maybe the PV is to blame? All of the flavors taste so differently with my cartos, just like they did on the kgo, but with an atomizer they all seemed the same. BUT with an atomizer on the kgo, I could taste the distinctions of each too. Weird how each pv affects flavors!

It is entirely possible that Gene from NLV adds some mesquite or hickory smoke flavoring to his juice, and THAT may be where the bacon flavor is coming from. I am a fan of NLV juices, and have tried most of Gene's offerings, but I have never tasted bacon in any of the juices, but it is entirely possible that the OP can taste it. Different folks, different strokes.

WHEW! quite the discussion happening here!

first of all i would like to clarify that i'm not trying to ruffle anyone's feathers, or give NLV a bad reputation (that's impossible). With everything good i've heard about NLV i just couldn't believe that everyone could love the flavor that i, personally, recieved in the mail.

I am vaping thru LR stardust on a tornado (eGo clone) 3.7v manual battery, and that setup works great for every single other juice i've tried (i have about 40 bottles in total between BWB, AVE, Copper Creek, and NLV).

I submitted a support request to NLV last night, politely detailing my problem. I'll let you guys know when i receive a response. to anyone who is offended my my OP, i urge you to read it again as i believe it is tasteful, detailed, and honest. many (but not all) of the suggestions being given i have tried and detailed in the original post.

to sum it up, i can only deduce that there is something wrong with the 4 bottles i got. there is no way that this is how they were intended to taste (especially after seeing all the knights in shining armor aggressively rush to defend this vendor) hopefully it is a fluke and NLV can replace them.

Edit: my bottles are 12mg and are dated 4/2012

If a previous poster is correct, NLV does not mix their juice to order, they mix large batches at a time.
So if you received bad juice, then probably 100s of other people also received the same nasty juice.
On top of that, you have 4 bad bottles from 4 different batches.
The odds of this occurring without 100s of people being outraged are astronomical.
NLV juice just may not be for you.
You seem to be sensitive to something in it that no-one else seems to notice.

They for sure have large batches mixed at a time. So, no way his stuff was bad and no one else's was. I have stuff out of those same batches myself and it is fine.
The idea of 4 different bottles of different bases and flavors all being tainted the same way is crazy, anyway, but that they all 4 got tainted the same and no one else's did out of any of the 4 flavors is crazy.

And I assure you, no mesquite or smoke flavor is used, either. And if it was, which its not, why would he be the only one to taste it?

I received my first ejuice order from NLV yesterday born 4/2012. 4 different flavors...all of them tasting good to great with/Gold being my favorite! (have not tried BH yet)

I haven't been vaping long but have ordered from 7-8 different vendors. The ONLY two vendors w/the best jucies that I would order from again...NLV and BWB being the other.

Sorry your experience was different. Unless u got a batch all flavored in bacon it has to be something on your end.
With that sd...Gene is a generous person (I can say this w/just one order) and I believe he will do whatever to make you happy.

Um, FAIL. New vaper taste-buds and bizarre taste sensibilities are completely out of the control of ANY vendor, as is the hardware any given vaper chooses to use. Given what we all now know about NLV juices, these appear to be the only possibilites in this instance.

Therefore, there is simply no ""issue" that this or any other vendor can "resolve", and simply no possible basis for posting negative comments in the supplier review section.

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

P.S. I assure you there is no bacon or hickory smoke in any of the OP's juices.
