Depending on the depth of the scratches, there are numerous products that will eliminate most of the visible marks. Even with deeper marks, they can be made to appear almost unnoticeable.

Para is our resident guru on scratches and dings. Maybe you can take a picture of the damage so the best advice could be offered. :)

I should post a pic of my tortured work GGTS, talk about battle scarred, nothing's getting the dings and scratches out of that baby lol. Still works like the day I got it though and I can 100% guarantee that no other mod in existence would still be working after being through a fraction of what's been thrown it's way, I wouldn't be able to vape at work without it for sure.

My work SS GGTS is pretty battered but I think it gives it character and after all they are meant to be used and as long as the other 3 I've got (1 for house use only and 2 low numbered SSGGTS tucked up in velvet pouches) are in mint condition I don't mind sacrificing one and theirs nothing else I'd rather use ;)

I drop mine constantly, I'm a veg and forget they are on my lap or next to me or somewhere in my man-bag (Hey, the vaping stuff has to be carried somehow!!!). They have never broken save the mouthpieces and drip tips when I have those On, that's one of the reasons I have remained a fanboy because the darned things are way more indestructible than any other mods I have owned!!!:thumb:

That's a shame. Hope Para can help you out.
Mine only goes from my desk to my mouth, I'm that worried about doing the same and scratching it up.

Since it's SS and Brass it can be fixed...just takes time. Pics will reveal course of action.

Side Note....I'm getting upset reading all this talk about not caring about scratches on GG's. VERY UPSET

I too have dropped my beloved #496. Once. ONCE.... and as I watched it bounce and slide (yes, SLIDE) across the pockmarked cement, I actually think time slowed down for a few moments. If any of you noticed the earth stop spinning for a few moments a couple weeks ago, sorry - that was me.

I've got an old table saw in the garage that I never use. It's an old-school type, with an exposed motor and belt that drives the sawblade. I'm seriously considering converting it over to a buffing wheel just for GG polishing...

I tend not to worry about such things for my everyday GG. I expect that 'lived in look'. I don't think twice about putting it in my pocket with my keys. ( you should see the glass on my phone ) I do generally carry in a pocket in my iPad case on the way to work, given the spare stuff I carry with it.

The pristine blasted/silk GGTS/UFS2... That's a different story. I put gloves on before removing from it box, air tight bag, micro fiber wrap, to look at it, the wrap it babk up, put in its bag, and place it back it it's box. ;)
