Sorry for the trouble, we have returned the 801 and 901 Manual passthrough for improvements , but our auto 901 passthrough is great and it is the same for DPV9 PASS.
Hi -- I realize this question isn't about 801 passthroughs but I hope you'll indulge me for a moment here.
I bought several 510 passthroughs because, on seeing that device for the first time, I was immediately concerned about the possibility of those very thin wires breaking. I don't know why Joye makes that passthrough with such flimsy wiring! Further, the reqirement to use the in-line battery seemed like a non-feature to me, compared with the (auto) 801 passthroughs I have. I realize that the battery can be used for a while when the passthrough is disconnected from the power supply, but in my experience it does not hold a charge very long.
I got one of the Puresmoker passthroughs and while it delivers a decent amount of power to 801 atomizers, I am concerned about what it might do to 510 atomizers. I am not using it with the 510 right now.
So: is there any hope at all that the industry in China will develop a better designed 510 passthrough that is not fully dependent upon an additional in-line battery, and that has much more robust wiring?
(It's also a bit bothersome that the 510 passthroughs do not have a proper "strain relief" at one end of the in-line battery box, even though they do have one at the other. What a peculiar omission.)
Thanks,
Mike
