Normally this kind of post would be on the main forum, but I prefer advise from Texans. I'm looking for an 801 battery as good as the njoy battery, but not $17.50 plus shipping. Surely there is another brand that's the same. The njoy has SHO81220 stamped on it.

Some of the batts I''ve gotten lately are just not good. I'm not interested in mods or pass thrus, I'm just looking for good auto batteries.

Any suggestion?

Well, I don't have anything to compare it with other than the RN-4072 batteries from Puresmoker, but I bought an 801 battery from Jane at electroniccigarettesales.com (electronic cigarette e-cigarette e-cig electric cigarette e-liquid : BATTERY FOR PEN STYLE (STAINLESS SOLD OUT)), and I like it a lot better. I think what I have is what she calls the stainless penstyle battery, which is currently out of stock, but she does have chrome or burled wood (if you go for that kind of thing!).

It seems long lasting with pretty good power, and still doing well after maybe a month or so of relatively light use. Mine came with a red LED, didn't see a way to choose an LED color option on the site.

The 801 manual switch battery from East Mall is fantastic. Make sure you get the switch, battery and battery charger if you decide to get that one. The regular 801 battery charger will not work.

When I ordered, I thought I ordered the manual USB passthrough so I didn't order the charger. But, I can place the battery just so in my 502e battery charger and it works!

The best solution long term solution would be to make or buy a battery mod.
