OK...just opened my last pack of 5 smoktech dual coil cartos...and not a one of them have side air holes above the threads of the connector. Discovered this after filling one and having my head collapse from trying to suck on the damn thing. I've never seen this before; anyone ever run across this? I'd send them back, but to be honest I don't even remember where I got them. What would be best -- drill a couple tiny holes in each one or try to punch them somehow?

I just recently got two more Smoktech tanks from Madvapes with the dual coil 1.5 cartos in them. One of the cartos was missing the air holes just like yours, the other one had it. Guess I'm not the only one. I have some more tanks and cartos in the mail right now, I really hope this isn't a new trend for Smoktech stuff or I'll be pretty disappointed.

Aren't those considered bottom feeder cartos for bottom feeder mods? And the stuff we're used to are considered side feeders?

Well, in my case this was a carto that came in a tank, so it was supposed to be for tank use.

Plus they have the flange on the bottom, which as far as I know, is specifically made for use in tanks.

Never having used a bottom feeder I'm not familiar with how the cartos are configured, but with these cartos missing the normal air holes 100% of the air flow through the carto would have to come through the battery connector. If you had a bottom feeder hooked up and all of your airflow was coming through the feeder mech, wouldn't you suck all of the juice out in the first drag you took?

Either way smoktech messed up. They were supposed to have holes and didn't.
