Tucson, it's a dry heat
What is "max"? Max puff seconds? Max temperature? Max ohms? Have you hooked it up to a computer to configure it? Sometimes the default settings are off - like the temp warning. I always have to turn it up.

Edit: ok, "max time" - sounds like you have the puff counter or timer on - go into the settings and change the timer settings.

So this is my first full day using my eVic. This evening the display has said no Atty found? Any reason why. I have had to cut it off then back on. Then it detects it. Its a new atty that came with my pt2 yesterday .

Sometimes you'll have to pull the center pin down slightly on an atomizer head to make good contact. When I first got my eVic I didn't have this problem, but then after I had started using a new batch of atty heads I did. Apparently there are some slight cifferences in the constriction of the atomizer bodies that cause this.

So I took it apart tighten everything put it back on it detected the Atty so far. But now when I press the button it says max time every time I press it

When attaching your clearomizer you don't want to really tighten it tight, just tight enough to make contact and that's it. Tightening it too tight can cause thread problems, ans push that center pin up causing contact problems.

Where is the center pin at ?

Take a look at this picture:

The center pin for the atomizer head is at the bottom. Its the part below the white silicone insulator. When you're looking at the bottom of your assembled clearomizer, it looks like it has a slot for a flat blade screw driver. Though actually it is not threaded, the slot is for air flow.
