This is a difficult one to pull off but here goes the explanation. I have noticed some people here talk (myself included) about making a device out of glass. Not sure on others intentions but mine is going to be completely out of glass (excluding wiring and battery explosion safety barrier and some rubber o rings here and there). So now that we got the basic down here goes the rest.
Get a Quarter sized magnifying glass. Go into the Sun and get a precise focal point measurement on a drop of e-liquid resting on one end of a q-tip. If the e-liquid starts vaporizing we can move on, if not scrap idea.
Once you have the measurement have the glass blower incorporate an o-ring on the side of the housing so that you can place the magnifying glass in a manner in which the focal point will be right on the coil based off of distance calculations found when testing (run on sentence).
If it all works you should be able to vape when you are outside without using batteries.
Side note - there are other ways to do this and in basic explanation would include using a stepping motor and a crank (can easily produce enough voltage to run an atomizer I believe or charge batteries).
Edit: Just thought of something... well a few things. First the heat from this could be too much although I doubt it. If it is then we are talking about danger.
Another thing is a parabolic dish. These things are insane with their focal point. It is basically a dish (much like a satellite dish) in the sahap of a parabola. Point it at the sun and the focal point becomes very hot. Either way I believe the temps might get too hot although I am very uncertain, just wanted to mention the possibility. hmm. I suppose since you can see the entire process you would be able to get the vapor right through some testing.
