Sounds like a good answer for your loved ones :)
My problem is, though, is I have an addictive personality. I get addicted to anything which I feel I need to limit myself on. It happened with countless things.. Cigars, card games, buying things.. I try to make these limits for me but they end up making me want to do whatever I'm limiting more.
What I'm getting at is I hope I don't get addicted to vaping from my own downfall, since I could theoretically do it anywhere :p. I guess it'd wear off though.. Always does.

Good luck to you. Shiny-itis is a well known side effect of vaping.

It sounds like you are asking for encouragement ??

Whether to vape or not is entirely a decision for you to make on your own.

Perhaps you will find vaping curbs your desire for cigars and pipes. Even if you only smoke them occasionally and don't inhale you are still exposing your body to toxins produced by combustion and those around you to second-hand smoke. Even when I smoked cigarettes, the smoke from cigars made me sick to my stomach. Pipes are just as bad. My dad used to smoke them and the amount of smoke he produced was more than my cigarettes.

You might consider an electronic pipe. There are inexpensive ones, but there are also ones that can almost pass for the real thing. E-cigars exist as well. These are just examples.

I can understand the appeal of trying new things and the vast array of flavors offered, but I would not recommend that any non-smoker start using e-cigarettes. However, if you are going to be vaping at times when you would otherwise be smoking a cigar or pipe, vaping is probably a somewhat healthier alternative.

As you want to try lots of different flavors, you don't need a big tank clearomizer. You'd probably be better of with 3 or 4 small ones, such as the Kangertech Aerotank Mini, which I think is a great little device and the atomizers (heating coils) seem to last a lot longer than the Aspire Nautilus atomizers. That way you will have several different flavors available to you at the same time. These will fit very nicely on a Vision Spinner II or Ego-C Twist battery, both of which have variable voltage. I have found the Vision products to be more robust that the Egos, but they are a bit larger and more expensive. Of course, you shouldn't make a big investment in equipment until you're sure you're really going to like vaping.
