The Problem:

1. I can tolerate humongous and unhealthy amounts of nicotine.
2. I always vape too much intuitively (no matter the concentration), and get unfriendly side-effects slowly over days or weeks.
3. When I vape, I just don't have any immediate feeling that tells me to stop.

This is very different with combustible cigarettes. Firstly you have a clear unit: you smoke it then you would have to light or roll the next one to continue. Then you notice it in the throat and in the lungs that it isn't so healthy, so you are very inclined to stop smoking. Maybe after the first, second or third cigarette in a row at least. And all successive cigarettes during the day just add to that feeling in the lungs. I suppose you are all familiar with this.

Also what contributes to the problem is, that I am using very pure ingredients without flavoring. But if I don't use the crappy liquids, that give you the kind of unhealthy plastic/oily or chemical taste, then again I just vape too much as if I am inhaling just air.

Adding some menthol worked quite well, I just felt it when I vaped too much. But as much menthol as required to get this feeling, almost clogged the tank faster than you can refill it. Menthol crystallizes randomly, and then no vapor is produced at all. I can't clean the tank ad-hoc all the time, and waste the liquid inside in the process.

I just tried adding a bit vinegar for the laughs, and after a while it felt quite wrong in the lungs, understandably. So that's obviously not an option.

How to solve this?

Using 0.5mg/ml and then vaping 10 or 15 minutes like a madman with overpowered hardware seems pretty impractical. If I use 3mg/ml instead of 6mg/ml then I just vape twice as often, because I can still tolerate so/too much nicotine per day. I can't use PG, which supposedly has more throat hit ... if that even solves anything.

Are there any kind of healthy natural additives, like menthol? That don't clog the tank of course.

Wait, i'm confused. How much nic are you on, 6? Do you MTL or direct?
Because if that's the case, i'm on 12 on a dripper with MTL and often times it's not enough for me. I stop only after a few of those big thumps to the throat from nic. Otherwise its just like chasing a dragon for me

I've been reading up on WTA (Whole Tobacco Alkaloids) and I have not tried them, but those may be what you're looking for. I know Aroma Ejuice (ECF authorized seller) offers them, but they only have strengths in 12-24mg that I saw. I personally can't vape 12 anymore but maybe (my second option) more nicotine would help, but with menthol or mint to dull the TH...

Hm, I bought some fancy stuff: Tesla dual 19650 120W plus big fat tank. All in all with charger and everything 150 euros ...

I am not exactly sure how much I just vaped. But with the adjustable temperature, wattage and airflow I can regulate it so that it hits much better and seemingly solves the problem.

With the e-cigarette I used before, there was just a ton of vapor that felt extremely smooth (or not enough vapor). Now it is different. So it seems, pricey hardware is the way to go.
