I saw another thread relating an evod just spinning on the zmax and pulling the thread collar out. Everyone chalked it up to a defective device and as the guy just got his, he returned it for another one. Well, I've had my zmax for a couple months now (out of warranty) and used all numbers of stardusts and protanks with no problems, but I'm getting the same thing when I now try an evod. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Buy a 510 to Ego adapter.

Problem solved, with a little weirdness. I just ran to get an adapter (yay new B&M that just opened three blocks away!) and the only way to make the adapter work with the evod is to take the zmax's threaded collar out. Evod is working great albeit with a little more gap than I'd prefer, but now I have to make sure I don't lose the little collar

I haven't had my thread collar pull out, but I have had eGo threaded clearomizers unscrew from the base and spill e-liquid onto my battery. One of the selling points for me was that the Zmax had the eGo connection because I have several eGo threaded clearomizers
At this point, before I use one, I make sure the connection is clean and rub a little lubricant on the threading, it doesn't happen as often now.

Now that was weird, have a Zmax mini that I have been using an evod on, after reading this thread I took the evod off the zmax mini and put it on my Zmax V2, no problem. Until I went to take it back off, unscrewed it and ended up with just the tank in my hand, luckily it was low on juice so I didn't make a mess, never happened to me before, I think you jinxed me Cara,
