today i got my griffin in and it leaked like some have been saying in the reviews. well me not having a ride at the moment i had to find a fix without anything but what came with it. here is what i did the top cap was hard to get on and off so i took that o ring and swapped it with the bottom one on the tank part. as of right now i have had no leaks and i have no extra cost in the atty:2cool:

rebuilt my griffin, removed the stainless tank. swapped orings as advised, have clear tank on... NO LEAKS!! this rba is going to work with me today. Thanks for the heads up on oring swap. I also noticed the orings seem, small an tight during swap. I bet just new orings would have corrected my leaking clear tank issue. But a no cost fix is right here. TY again dragonrage.

Ok as a fallow up to this awesome genesis rba. I drilled the wick hole out to 1/8th, simple hand drill. Using a ceramic wick from DV = 7/64. 4 wraps of Kanthal A-1 32 awg Resistance Heating Wire. Its showing 1.8 ohm on the vamo. starting out at 3.2v, MUCH00000 VAPE. I bought the ceramic for my aga t, but WOW!! Will be putting ceramic in all my Griffins. Eric, TYTY for such great products!!

I had the same problem with the Genesis Did Clone leaking from the bottom of the tank, after some googling I found your post and the top O ring fixed the leaking on the bottom BUT the bottom O ring has a loose fit on the top, and given the fact that you have to unscrew the top cap to align the air hole, you end up with a loose top cap!! Going to search hardware stores to find another O ring that has the same size as the top one. Thanks man!

I just went through all my vaping stuff looking for any O rings that could fit on the top. So I took the O ring from a Drip Tip that belongs to a Chinese Dual Coil Tank, it is a smaller diameter but when you stretch it, it's size ends up being very close to the original one (actually a little bit wider) but this extra size is perfect because when you tighten the top cap, the air hole ends up aligned with the wick.

    Hope it helps someone
