No flavor from tank, but dripping directly on atomizer I can taste flavor.

Aight. So I've made some delicious juices I've really been enjoying. When the tank is near empty I drip a flavor in to see if it's the one I wanna do next, and I taste it, it's good. I fill the tank and I can't really taste it. For instance I got this peach cream in my tank rn. It's got a light tart very light peach and creaminess but I can't taste the full peach flavor. Then if I drip the liquid directly on the coil there is full flavor. Same with my raspberry cream. I drip and I taste, when in the tank. It's not strong. I'm using an RTA single coil build with a .3 ohm coil.

I'm not the most experienced with RTAs but if you are getting full flavor applying liquid directly on the coil but not after filling the tank, it sounds like it is probably an issue with the wicking.
Much depends on the specific RTA, but possible causes for muted flavor could be that the wick is either too tight or loose through the coil or maybe too much wick in the juice ports - especially if the wick is touching the deck with some RTAs.

What RTA are you using?

I've never read about this, but recently experienced it with my own DIY liquids: some mixes separate in my tank (or pod), and need a little shake. I've noticed that high PG flavors will carry well to the wick and coil, while other heavier flavors won't. So my mixes sometimes taste like whatever flavor flows best. Recently mixed a "Dark Menthol" flavor, and it's the best example of this issue. It's probably not your issue, but give your tank a little shake and wait 10 minutes before hitting it. Any difference? It happens slightly less in my RDTA's, not sure why. Anyway, just my subjective experience - hope you get the flavors! Drippers are what I do at home. Just too good :)

When mixing you have to keep in mind what type of atty you'll be using it in. Rda coil is close to your mouth with no chimney to cool the vapor. Easy fix is if you want a tank go with rdta & rda or mix the flavor your losing at a higher percentage and if it's too strong for dripping pull off a few mls and add some vg for a dripping bottle.

Thanks for input. I believe it's actually partially due to the flavors themselves. Just had a different experience with a juice that got finished steeping, it was too strong direct drip, but all the flavors came out when it went into the tank. Maybe my taste buds are just not that spectacular because that juice had some strong flavoring. I can taste everything I put in and I actually love that one

That actually makes perfect sense. Longer steep tends to taste stronger so ideal for rta, just pull off a 10ml and add maybe 2ml of vg for dripping; just continue to add vg until you hit the sweet spot.

Aright cool, yeah... I also just found a related thread from 2015 I didn't see before. Another guy said the same, cept he was dripping into an RDA and said when he put the juice into a tank it was bland. I had a fruit flavor earlier I made as a SnV while I wait on the rest of my bakery flavors, It either tastes like gum that's running out of flavor, fruit infused water, or like one of those really old cig-a-like style vapes. Lol the last one, oh man I tasted it and it brought back memories. Likely i need to change out the cotton in that one and can taste the VG burning and not the fruit flavor. I definitely don't like the burnt cig-a-like cartridge flavor. Pretty sure I just gotta throw some more sweetener in that on after I change the cotton. Should be fine then.
