What do you mean by "flavor AND taste"? Can't taste food either? Vaper's tongue.

Well, if you weren't getting vapor then it would be wicking. But you are, so....Other than that, and adjusting voltages, try rotating many different juice flavors. People do get "burnt out" on a flavor....after a while you just can't taste it because you adapt to it.
Didn't know one's tongue can get numb from nic after awhile of chain vaping - no wonder I got less and less of the flavor after sometime.
You get "adapted" to flavors. Same way you "don't hear" that repeating sound after a while...

You have vapors tongue from not drinking enough water. I had it a few days ago and it blows. I couldnt taste anything!!! all my juice basically tasted the same and was boring. Drink a TON of water, scrape your tongue, and it should come back. Google Vapors Tongue and see what I mean. I never heard of such a thing, but its real.
A couple of other kind of obvious things...try shaking your juice...I don't know why, and I am a noob also sometimes it settles...ordinarily the flavor goes to the top, nic to the bottom, but that could be part of the problem. Try changing to a radically different flavor also.
Vapors Tongue, that explains my problem. Thought I was just still trying to get over the cold we've had going around here since I had no appetite at all (actually the sight and smell of food made me feel even worse) for 3 days even though everyone else was eating just fine.
Been back to normal feeling for the last 2 days but have no taste at all. Doesn't matter if it's my coffee, vape, food, juice or water..heck I couldn't even taste the lemon slice last night.

I keep contrasting flavors on hand in case it happens to me. I also drip primarily, so there's always some cocktail of flavors happening. I haven't had 'vaper's tongue' in a long time.
I have been vaping for 8 months and have never had vapors tongue. I don't think! I have had a little loss in flavor after vaping the same thing for days. Is this still vapor tongue? Or am I just tasting the same thing all day, and getting used to it?
One trick to get the taste buds back to working properly again when you get vaper's tongue is to mix 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda into small (6oz or so) glass of water. Swish it in your mouth, then spit and repeat until all the mix is gone. Your taste buds should be much better. Repeat as needed. Drink LOTS of water (without baking soda in it, of course!)
Oh yes. I did that to myself early on. Hit a juice I really liked and way overdid it. Learned the hard way.
Did two things wrong. Vaped way too "hot" (at least for me). Vaped too much of too high a nic level. It was before I understood what nic level worked when. Some folks have to switch around. I have some 24 for mornings ("first cig of the day" thing) but 12 and even 6 for other times. Lower for times I know I'm prone to chain anything. Like now. At the computer. I'm not even all that aware of how many times I take a "drag" off the object to my left. Though it's probably "a lot".
So I use a 6 these days for sitting at the computer.Also have Twists and can adjust the temp. The hot vapor hitting my tongue dead on that time made for one unhappy tongue lemme tell ya.
Well, it was happy for a while because the juice tasted so good but the aftermath? Not so much...
Well, in my experience, if you have to ask, you ain't had it.
I've only had it once, back near the beginning, and mostly because I pulled what I now know to be a boneheaded thing to do. But it was like somebody threw a switch. Not "less taste". No taste. None. Zip. Zero. Nada.
Weirdly, I could taste food. But every juice I had? Zero flavor. Just nothing...
I've never had it either. I've seen people post about it but it's difficult to imagine this happening to me. I mix my own juices in different strengths and even have a bottle of pure unflavored PG/VG/Nic on hand at all times and even that I can taste the sweetness. My theory is vapors tongue is nothing more than poorly adjusted or badly performing atty or tastless juice (or combination thereof).
Uh...sorry...but no. Not everyone experiences it though. The OP's answer (that food tastes fine) rules it out.
But yes, it exists. And it's quitting smoking and/or vaping related. It happens not only for a flavor of juice, but everything.
There's significant debate as to the terminology...it may be nasal rather than tongue...like when you can't taste anything with a bad cold.
IDK. But it's real and pretty well documented here. Whatever it is.
