I have really enjoyed the 1.7 LR Resurrectors with the E-Power 14650. It takes 50-60 drops of 80-20 juice to fill these cartos the first time, or about 2.0 ml. They hold a lot of liquid, usually enough to last me all day.

During the course of the day I don't notice that much change in taste from these LR cartos. I do notice a taste change that I attribute to the E-Power 14650 as a freshly charged 14650 battery runs down from about 4.17VDC to somewhere below 3.54VDC. At lower voltage the carto runs cooler, produces less vapor and less taste. After 24 hrs of vaping, my Resurrectors stop operating somewhere between 3.5-3.4VDC. Then it's time for a new battery.

...the following, I posted in the thread referred to on the issues with the Resurrectors...........:2cool:

..as a big time fan of this carto, and all bought from CCV, this is my take...I have bought 60 of these...the first 30 were in the green packing and the second 30 were in the clear...of the first 30, I had one, which would not hold juice...fill it, and it would run out the bottom...just tossed it and all the rest worked to perfection, lasting nearly a week, vaping 4-5ml/day...

...when I went to re-order, CCV was out and waiting for Smok-Tek to produce and ship more(Smok-Tec was out of stock itself)...when I got my new order of 30, they were in the clear plastic, the filler didn't seem to come up quite as far as the green wrapped...we have gone thru 10 of that 30 and 2 of them, exhibited the performance issues noted by the OP...the "snap&crackle" seems somewhat(just a little) muted...the "airyness" seems about the same(maybe just a tad moreso)...those couple didn't last as long either because, the taste was just "off' or somewhat burnt tasting after a couple of days(just on the 2 so far which were not good).....

What I am thinking right now is the possibility, Smok-Tek, in their hurry to fill orders may have rushed product out with some of that well know quality control from Chinese manufacturers...the thing that actually bothers me, I have been on the Smok-Tek website and do not see the 1.7 single coil XL cartomizers listed at all...most all the cartos listed are dual coils and for myself personally, I find the dual coils to be too cool on 3.7v gear...hmmmm do I see an excuse for a VV or HV upgrade in the furture.....

p.s. we are using these on Rivas and an E-Power...............mj

Tried to talk my wife into a VV box mod. She is only interested in an I-pro or Provari after looking at everything I dug up for her. Was hopeing to get off cheap :D
I'm heading for higher voltage. My 5v redneck passthrough with a 3ohm boge trumps my resurector on my ego. Great flavor and hit.

It's just not very portable. And holding two bare wires together for a switch is probably not recommended.

I've got a couple VV box mods I'm looking at.

...well the deal is...one of our driving reasons to vape was to save money(equal to the health and social issues)...since we(wife, step-daughter and I) were happy/satisfied with what we started with(Rivas) we are still on 3.7v gear...I have switched to the E-Power because of having to swap batts every 4-6hrs with the Rivas(me, vaping 5mi/day) and the big E cured that...I have acquired a Ti vari-cool chip and I am in the process collecting the parts to build a Vari-Cool box mod at some point in the future, mainly to give dual coil gear a try...I don't like dual coils on 3.7 gear, they are just to cool for my tastes.............

p.s. I have only been vaping since mid August so "vet" is a relative term...........mj
